Caladwen's POV:
The sky was no longer bright. It became dark and gloomy once I made it back to Mordor. It was a long ride, but it felt even longer because I couldn't stop thinking about Legolas. I wanted so bad to stay with him, but I knew that if I did that, that my father would question my motives. I stopped in front of the black gate, while I waited for the trolls and orcs to open it. Once it was open enough for me to ride through, I trotted Sadron through. In Mordor, the ground was warm and dark. There was nothing nice here. It made me think and appreciate the time I had in Minas Tirith, Rivendell, Rohan, and many more of Middle Earth's realms.
I galloped all the way to Barad-dur, where I hopped off Sadron and walked all the way up to the top. Being home felt so weird. It didn't feel like home anymore to me. Once I reached the top, my father's attention turned to me.
I kneeled down on the ground and said, "My lord, Sadron."
"Rise Caladwen." Sauron said. "I see you are the only one who has returned from the Battle of Minas Tirith."
"Yes father."
"And why is that?" he asked. "Why is it that you are the only one who is returning and everyone else isn't? It seems a little suspicious don't you think."
"I agree completely father. However, it is not my fault that your armies and servants had failed your every wish. However, I have not. Left and right I have proved my allegiance to you."
"And for that, I am grateful."
The eye of Sadron looked down on me. It created a figure of my father, even though it was impossible for him to have a physical form. He was wearing his metal armor, as he started approaching me.
"I sense a change in your heart, Caladwen. It is no longer black and filled with hatred. What has happened since you left Mordor?" Sauron asked.
"Nothing." I denied. "Nothing has happened, father."
"Why do I sense that you are lying?"
I didn't look up at my father. I was looking down at the ground, trying to avoid eye contact with my father. Sauron lifted his hand up and smacked his hand across my face, as his armor scratched the side of my cheek. My face was flung to the side. I slowly looked up at my father. I was use to this type of "punishment" whenever I did something wrong.
"Answer me, Caladwen!" Sauron yelled. "Do not disobey me."
Something inside of me snapped. I had lost all control of my body. I was filled with anger and rage, to where I took my sword out and put it up against my father's neck.
"I left Mordor and saw more to my life. I didn't see the hatred and violence that you put on me. I saw light instead of darkness. I made friends and I fell in love. I no longer have passion for killing or doing your evil bidding." I explained. "An army of men are on their way here to stop you. And for goodness sake, I hope they defeat you once and for all."
Sauron became mad. He knocked my sword away and grabbed me by the throat. My hands grabbed his wrist, trying to make him let go of my throat. He lifted me up by my throat.
"Ungrateful child." Sauron began. "I took you in when you were just an infant. If it wasn't for me you would be dead. I expect loyalty from you. This type of disobedience will not be tolerated."
Just before Sauron could finish me off, a disturbance was coming from the black gate. Sauron's physical form disappeared, causing me to fall to the ground. His attention turned to the gate, where an army of men were waiting to fight his remaining forces. I was having a hard time breathing. My eyes became heavy and I became tired. I could not move any part of my body.
"Legolas." I murmured.
