The Nazgul's and Caladwen have spent so much time searching for the hobbits. However, no matter where they looked or how hard they tried, they couldn't find the hobbits or the ring anywhere. They were riding in all sorts of directions, but they still couldn't find the ring. Caladwen was next to the Witch-king of Angmar. They took a break, so they could think for a minute. They needed to come up with a plan and fast. They can't just give up. They needed to find the ring.

Soon enough, a serge of power was felt from the Nazgul's. Caladwen waited for a minute, so she could see which way the ring was drawing the Nazgul's too. The Witch-king of Angmar held on tight while his horse reared up and he turned it in the direction of Bree.

The Nazgul's began riding toward Bree with the Witch-king leading the way. Caladwen followed behind the group, as they started making their way toward Bree. They had to ride hard, so that they could reach Bree fast. It didn't take too long from where they started, but it was a good distance away.

All ten of them were stopped by a gate. A gate that would allow them into Bree. The Nazgul's and Caladwen were stopped by the gate. The Nazgul's horses began circling because they couldn't go anywhere, since the gate was closed. They needed to get through, so they could catch the hobbits and the ring. However, the Nazgul's didn't know what to do, but Caladwen had an idea.

"Rear your horses!" shouted Caladwen to the Nazgul's.

The Witch-king and one of the Nazgul's reared their horses up, causing the horses hooves to come in contact with the gate; therefore, knocking it to the ground. The ten of them charged into Bree as quickly as they could. Four Nazgul's, including the Witch-king, hopped off of their horses and took out their swords.

"Witch-king, what shall I do?" asked Caladwen.

"Stay put!" ordered the Witch-king.

Caladwen stayed seated on her horse, as she watched four of the Nazgul's enter the Prancing Pony. She didn't appreciate the Witch-king having her stay where she was. She had more potential than staying on her horse, while they went to get the ring. But, she didn't disobey his orders. Caladwen remained on her horse with five members of the Nazgul.

A couple of minutes after the four Nazgul's went into the Prancing Pony, there was screeching coming from the inside. She knew by their sounds that the hobbits or the rings was not found. She looked down at her hands, as the four Nazgul's walked out of the Prancing Pony and hopped back on their horses.

"I take it you found nothing." said Caladwen, to the Witch-king before he rode off.

"Indeed, we found no ring or hobbits in the Prancing Pony." responded the Witch-king.

The Nazgul's rode back in the direction, from which they came. They needed to keep searching and staying here was only going to be a waste of their time. Caladwen didn't follow the Nazgul's right away. Instead, she remained outside of the Prancing Pony while she looked at the buildings around her. She thought that maybe the hobbits didn't leave Bree, but just switched buildings.

The Witch-king of Angmar came back to get her and asked, "What are you still doing here?"

"I had a theory, but I clearly must be fantasizing."

Caladwen went with the Witch-king out of Bree, so they could continue their search for the ring. However, she thought that she should have stayed in Bree. She had a strong feeling that the hobbits were still in Bree.
