Caladwen's POV:

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. I saw that I was laying on my back, in a bed, that was in a lovely room. I looked around the room and saw Legolas, sitting at my bedside. His eyes were closed and he didn't move, so I suspected he had fallen asleep. With the strength that I had, I moved my hand over to his. When I touched him, Legolas opened his eyes and looked down at his head. His head instantly turned to me. He smiled at me.

"Hi." I mumbled.

"Caladwen!" he said, as he grabbed my hand and leaned over me.

"Where am I?" I asked. "What happened?"

"Sauron choked you pretty good, to where you lost a lot of oxygen to the brain. Sadron found me and took me to you. I brought you here to Rivendell. Lord Elrond has been tending to you." Legolas explained.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I felt Legolas gently touch my cheek, which sent chills up and down my spine. I opened my eyes and smiled at Legolas. Then, it hit me. Where is Sadron?

"Where is Sadron?" I asked. "Is he okay?"

"Yes, he is just fine. In fact, he is being quite spoiled by the three hobbits in the stables, as we speak. And I recovered your sword."

"Of course he is." I chuckled. "Well perhaps he deserves it, and thank you."

I sat myself up in the bed, so I could see Legolas eye to eye. I was definitely sore and bruised when I moved, but other than that I couldn't find anything else wrong with me. I squeezed Legolas' hand tight.

"What is it?"

"I just wanted to thank you for everything you have done. For proving that I wasn't the dark and cold hearted person that my father created. And thank you for showing me Middle Earth and who the real mean guy was. I don't know what things would be like if I didn't meet you." I continued. "Gi melin (I love you), Legolas."

Legolas lifted my hand up to his lips and gently kissed my knuckles.

"I love you too." he responded.

For a couple of minutes, we remained quiet as we looked into each other's eyes. His were so calm and loving. I could get lost in his eyes.

"Oh, you should know that your name means 'light'."

A tear fell down my cheek, that Legolas gently wiped away from my cheeks. He leaned in and gave me a kiss on my forehead, followed by a long but gentle kiss on the lips. Then, he brought me into his chest for a hug, as I cried into his chest.

"It's okay." he whispered. "I've got you now."
