Caladwen was riding with the Nazgul's as they continued their search for the hobbits and her father's ring. Days went by since they left Mordor and hours have passed throughout the days. Caladwen was growing impatient and restless. She wanted to find the hobbits and fast, so that she could get her fathers ring. She began to become mad at all of the Nazgul's, including the Witch-king. Caladwen knew that if she was in charge, then things might be different in the search for the ring.

Caladwen was riding with the Nazgul's when she spotted a fire burning. It was a fire that was burning at the Watchtower of Amon Sul. She stopped her horse and looked at the fire. It didn't take her too long to figure out that the four hobbits were taking shelter at the watchtower.

"The hobbits!" shouted Caladwen, causing the Nazgul's to stop riding ahead and turn around to start heading over to the hobbits.

Caladwen rode over with the Nazgul's to the watchtower. Five members of the Nazgul's, including the Witch-king, went up to the top of the watchtower. Caladwen remained on her horse with the other members of the Nazgul. They waited to see or hear what is going on up at the watchtower. At first, everything was all quiet and going according to the Witch-kings plan.

Caladwen could hear the screams coming from one of the hobbits. She figured that he must have been stabbed with a morgul blade. Then, a bright flame was seen from below the watchtower, followed by the screams of the five Nazgul's.

There were members of the Nagul's fleeing the scene. Some were one fire as they fell from the top of the watchtower, and others simply fled. They all hopped on their horses and rode away from the danger that was at the top of the watchtower, except for Caladwen. She stood her ground and waited to see what was threatening the Nagul's. Soon enough, a man peered over the edge of the watchtower and looked down at the fleeing Nagul's and Caladwen.

She smirked up at him, but he did not do anything because he could not see anything, due to the dark hood covering her face. She stared at the man. There was something that she saw within him, but she wasn't sure of exactly what it was.

The hobbit, Frodo, screamed in pain. Aragorn quickly left the edge of the watchtower to tend to the poor hobbit. Caladwen turned her horse in the opposite direction of the watchtower and rode to meet up with the Nazgul members. They were all huddled in a circle, which Caladwen rode into the middle of.

"Idiots!" shouted an angry Caladwen. "How many opportunities do you need, in order to do your job right?"

"Watch your tongue, Caladwen." ordered the Witch-king.

"No!" snapped back Caladwen. "I am the daughter of Sauron, your master. I am the one who hasn't failed my father yet, so do not tell me to hold my tongue."

The Witch-king became silent, as did all of the other members of the Nazgul. Caladwen turned her horse around, so that she could see the watchtower.

"Now, we have a mission to do, so get your heads straight and find the hobbits." ordered Caladwen.
