Caladwen's POV:
I was fighting orcs around me, when Aragorn ordered everyone to fall back to the keep. I didn't hesitate to that order. I started heading toward the keep, when I saw Aragorn rushed up a fleet of stairs to his friend Haldir. I quickly followed after him, killing any orc in my way. When I got to Aragorn, I saw that Haldir had already passed.
"Aragorn we need to go now!" I shouted. "Aragorn come on!"
Aragorn quickly stood up and the both of us rushed back to the keep. Orcs had destroyed the gate and were trying to enter the keep. I started looking around for Legolas, while Aragorn and Gimli went to defend the gate, so that Theoden's people could try to repair it. As much as I would have liked that to work, I knew that it wouldn't do us any good. The orcs had breached the keep as well. Right now, it was only a matter of time before we all would be dead.
"Ride out with me." said Aragorn. "Ride out and meet them with me."
I looked up once I heard those words. I had not expected a man, such as Aragorn to say those words. Even though, all hope has been lost, Aragorn still wants to fight to the very end.
"Sadron." I called, over to my horse.
Sadron trotted over to me. I climbed up and placed my feet in the stirrups. I held the reins in my hands and waited with Theoden, Gimli, Aragorn, and Legolas. We prepared to storm out of here and fight the orcs ahead of us. I hoped they had some master plan besides being completely stupid, but I wasn't going to stop anyway.
We all charged out and into the army of orcs. When we made it outside, I saw that the sun had risen. I eventually found myself fighting the orcs on my horse. Then, there was a bright light coming from the top of a hill. It blinded me for a moment, but then I could see that it was Gandolf on Fairfax. And, he wasn't alone.
Gandolf had brought the men of Rohirim. Enough men on horses to fight off the orc army. Help had finally come. They charged down on horse back, toward the orc army. A smile escaped my face. All the orcs, including me, had been blinded by the light.
Rohirim had chased the remaining orcs off. They all head fled into the forest. I thought that I was going to be in big trouble with my father, since a majority of the orcs fled, but the trees in the forest had awoken from their slumber and killed all the remaining orcs. I felt a huge relief. As the men lined up to see the orcs in the forest die, I remained behind. The battle was over and it was time for me to be on my way, before things go bad for me.
