"i honestly don't know what to do anymore." brooke told dylan. they were laying on her bed, looking at the ceiling. brooke had been crying over tyler for a few days, and she didn't know how to fix it.

"he'll be fine, brooke." dylan said. "remember what happened to us in the beginning? you turned me down but we ended up being okay in the end."

brooke smiled. "yeah, we got married."

"okay, so bad example." dylan chuckled.

"ya think?" brooke giggled. "worrying about our friendship is getting tiring, dyl."

"i know, baby." he said, pulling her into his side. "i know." he kissed her temple.

"i could stay like this forever." brooke said after a few minutes of silence.

"so let's." dylan offered.

"we can't." she sighed. "colton is bringing the kids back over, we got our weekend away."

"maybe they will make you feel better." dylan smiled.

"oh, they definitely will." she smiled back.
