Dear Who Ever,

So this weekend was pretty interesting... Ash and I have been together for two weeks and two days. Friday I told my Dad and Step Mom about being back with him and about the cutting. Though my Step Mom already knew about the cutting and apparently had already told my Dad, I don't care either way. So the only surprise was that I was back with Ash. I told them that I believe I am old enough to be making my own decisions despite what may or may not happen from them. They agreed that was true and I needed to start making my own decisions and all since I'm sixteen. So in general they both handled the talk on Friday great! I was so relieved :D BUT (there's always a but...) Later that weekend, at the very end, my Dad and I were talking... It was on the way to drop me off with my Step Dad (who always picks me up for my moms' time). My Dad brought up Ash and the cutting, both from a very very religious point of view...

According to my Dad: The cutting was because I'm not following God how I should be. I am not putting my trust in God and that's why I cut. And because demonic presences are in my life because of the people I hang out with, causing me to cut (the demonic presences). Bruce is obviously a bad person because he doesn't follow God and that is only going to get me hurt. I've already compromised my faith/standards a bit by dating him at all. Bruce is going to eventually leave me when he sees someone else he likes better for *certain* reasons. My dad isn't actually ever disappointed in me, he just wants what is best for me. So when I do something that isn't 'for my best' according to him.. he isn't disappointed, just sad or something like that. "It isn't about what I want, I just want you to have a good life." -My Dad (Hypocritical quote don't you think?)

I hate this so much... DX
