Edward huffed to his brother who was going on about his usual vampire folklore talk, ''But Brother, have you ever seen one?'' Alphonse asked holding a book in his hands, as they walked to grab something to eat, ''No.'', ''Exactly.'' Al sneered, ''Vampires are nothing but superstition Al.'' Edward said in ignorance never realizing he had gotten the attention of someone as they walked by. A tall good looking raven haired male glanced over the moment Edward walked by, only catching a glimpse of his long golden hair that was down pausing in his steps before smirking to himself, ''My, My... What a rare and pretty find...'' He said to himself before walking away turning around when he was called to, ''Excuse me!'', ''Hmm?'' Making him turn to see a shorter haired version of Edward seeing him out of breath. ''Woah there... Might want to take it easy...'' Roy said with a worried smile making Al look up and catch his breath, ''Right sorry... I just... Needed to...'' Al started but stopped gesturing Roy to hold his hand out, ''...You dropped this...'' Al said putting a necklace that had a cross on it making Roy perk up, ''When did this fall off?'' The raven haired male asked raising a brow looking back at Al who had finally caught his breath. ''The.... Thing... Is broken...'' Al said making Roy to see the clamp of the necklace was broken, ''Ah, well thank you very much-?'' Roy said pausing when catching a glimpse of the book in the other's hand, ''Vampires?'' He started making Al perk up and laugh nervously, ''Yeah... It's kind of a hobby of mine...'', ''I see... Well you never know when you might just run into one~'' Roy said simply with a wave leaving Al quiet, ''What?...''. ''What took you so long Al?'' Edward questioned in the food court of the mall when seeing his brother come back, ''Sorry Brother... I was just helping someone...'' Al said nervously seeing Edward make a face, ''Help, help, help.... That's all you do Al, help people, when they judge you for that ridiculous vampire obsession of yours. You're too damn nice.'' Edward huffed making Al feel bad a bit, ''Sorry...''. ''Whatever, let's just order something already. I'm starving, plus I'm getting frustrated here with all these people.'' The blonde said seeing that he made his brother feel bad at what he said, ''Al...'', ''No it's okay... You're right.'' Al said walking away to a pizza place making Edward feel worse, ''Why am I like this?...'' Edward thought heaving a sigh following after his brother never realizing he was still being watched. ''Al.'', ''I said it was okay.'', ''No hear me out.'' Edward said as they ate, ''I stepped out of line okay? I'm just not used to you being more open about your vampire interests.'' He said taking a bite out of the pizza, ''Just because vampires aren't my thing, doesn't mean I should put you down about it.'' He added making Al finally give a small smile, ''It's fine... You're more of a science and facts guy, so I understand.'' He said. ''You've never been the fiction type.'' Al said reaching for his book reacting when Edward grabbed it and looked through the pages making a face, ''You're right... I can't understand a word of this... Explain.'' Edward said handing the book back to his younger brother, ''...Well... Vampires are creatures of the night that feed off blood... You should know that.'', ''I know all that jazz already. Tell me what I don't know.'' Edward huffed. ''...Maybe we can save this topic for home?... I can feel people looking at me...'' Al said quietly making Edward realize he was right, ''Who cares, keep going.'', ''Well... They're mysterious creatures of the night that feed off blood and never age... Basically the undead if you will.'' Al continued, ''Some say that they also have good looks. And the only way you're in danger of one is if you catch their attention and let them in.''. ''Let them in?...'', ''Yeah, You have to invite them in, they can't come in unless you invite them in.'' Al explained, ''So...'', ''I'm getting there, once they bite you, they can either A) Drain you of your blood and kill you or B) Turn you into one of them, but that's only if they have an interest in you.'' The younger brother said seeing Edward look at him like he was crazy, ''They only seem to have an interest in women though, so lucky you.'' Al added jokingly. ''Brother?...'', ''I just have one question Al...'', ''Yeah?...'', ''How can you tell when someone is a vampire? If they really exist.'', ''Well... They don't have a reflection, also they don't like crosses, stakes, garlic, and holy water, but there's something else about them too.'' Al said, ''They're very sexual and lustful, there's also another type...'' He said but stopped when seeing his brother make a face not surprised that he seemed unphased by what he said. ''You think I'm crazy don't you...'', ''Not one bit... It's just interesting that my little brother is the biggest vampire enthusiast, vs me... I'm the biggest skeptic.'', ''You're non religious so... No duh.'' Al said with a laugh, ''Hey!'', ''Change of topic... Winry is coming over sometime this week. Isn't that great?'' The younger brother asked happily seeing Edward raise a brow an drop it smiling at him. ''About damn time.'' Edward said smiling, ''What's the occasion?'' He asked as he ate away, ''She felt it was time, since she's been so busy with school.'' Al said happily as he ate, ''She's still busting her ass in school?'' Edward asked finishing up, ''Mhm.'', ''What a Gearhead...'', ''What was that science nerd.'' A voice said making both brothers look up to see their childhood friend looking at them with a bright welcoming smile. ''Winry?...'', ''Win when did you get here?'' Edward asked seeing the blonde laugh, ''I know you guys too well.'' Winry replied simply sitting next to Al who smiled with a blush, ''I missed you...'', ''I missed you too.'' Winry said grabbing Al's face and kissing him repeatedly making Edward frown, ''Will you two get a room?'' He said making Winry pause and look over to Edward, ''Still haven't found a girlfriend huh Ed?~'' She teased. ''Shut up!'' Edward said before stopping when seeing Winry look at him oddly, ''W-What?...'', ''Nothing.'', ''You're so weird Win.'' Edward huffed sipping at his cola pausing mid sip, ''Hey Win, do you believe vampires exist?'' Edward asked making Winry look over to Al and back to him, ''I suppose so, I mean we never seen one so... Possible they're out there?'' She replied as she let go of Al's face seeing Edward make a face. ''Of fucking course...'', ''Well Mr. Facts, explain Vampires than.'' Winry said annoyed putting her backpack down, ''It's nothing but superstition.'' Edward huffed making Al groan and set his face on the table, ''Can science prove that!?'', ''SUPERSTITION!'' Edward said back as they both bickered with Roy nearby and grinning to himself at their conversation, ''Well, aren't you in for a rude awakening~'' He said to himself simply.
