"Hey, Scarlet," Caelum says right when I enter the cozy cafe. Gosh, I love it here. I don't know if it's the smile on the waitresses's face or the pretty blooming flowers, but it's so refreshing and bright.
"Hi, Caelum," I sigh. He runs his hand through his hair which is usually really attractive, but with Caelum it makes him look really awkward. Which he is, don't get me wrong.
"Why are your eyes so...weird?" Damn. I forgot to check my makeup in a store window before I entered the Cafe.
"Umm..." Before I could think of anything Caelum has already reached across the table and expertly fixed my makeup.
"I like photography so I deal with a lot of girls and makeup..." He explains looking away from my amused gaze. I chuckle to myself. He's so dorky and different compared to the guys I talk to.
"So tell me the truth, Miss Popular. Why are you hanging out with me right now?" I bite my lip. What should I say to him? Should I tell him the truth? I guess I should, it's not like he has anyone to pass the information on to.
"I...Spencer...We..." I start to choke up and my eyes become watery. Caelum awkwardly gets up and hugs me, patting me on the back like a little puppy dog.
"It's okay, Scarlet. You don't have to tell me, I shouldn't have asked," he admits. I try to tell him it's okay but ny mouth doesn't seem to want to cooperate.
------------------
The next thing I know I'm in a strange car that looks old and beat up. My usual self would make some snarky remark about it, but as you probably can tell, I'm not myself. "Where are we going?" I finally manage to say.
"My house. I'm going to let you get some proper rest. You seem tired and I assume it's because of where you slept. You didn't sleep at your house, did you?" He asks curiously.
"No..." I whisper. My eyes become heavier and heavier.
----------------------
"Scarlet?" The familiar voice fills my ears like a song.
"Spencer," I say, a smile forming from the corners of my mouth.
"I love you, Scarlet," he starts to walk closer and closer, so close that I could reach out and touch his face.
"I..." My mouth goes dry. I can't say a word, I can't even breathe!
"I...I...lo...lo..." Why can't I say it?! Spencer starts to shake his head in disgust.
"I though there was a chance that you would take me back," he starts to slowly fade "But I guess I was quite wrong,"
"SPENCER!!"
---------------------
"Scarlet?" This time the voice calling my name was unfamiliar and confused.
"Caelum?" I ask. For a quick moment I forget where I am and why I'm there. It's a great feeling to totally forget everything. Too bad it only lasted for a short while. I sigh in frustration with myself. Why did I have to dream about Spencer? Why does my dad have to date Margo? Why is my life so screwed up?! My vision goes red again, but when It goes away I don't see any holes in the wall. Instead, I see a beam of blue, countering my beam of red... coming from Caelum's eyes.

Hey guys, so it's finally Sunday! This chapter was pretty exciting so I hope you liked it :) vote and comment and tell your friends because although it isn't the best book ever, I want to improve and the only way for that to happen is to make Jasmine and me feel inspired. (Did that make sense?) Anyways, stick around until Tuesday because things are about to get interesting.
