The Legend's Destiny

What really happened

"He met Scarlet's mom when he was 15. As did you i assume....anyways he met her mom and they began finding clues to who they were. They started working together to control their powers. They learned that threre was a legend made in the late 1700s that two people have to work together to save the world but if they fail to work together they will end up destroying it. The legend was made for your ansestors and all of their decendents. They started off well, your parents. They ended up falling in love, but your father and Scarlet's mother were already engaged to someone else, so they met in seceret and dated. Unfortunatly after your father learned that your mother was pregnant they faught off their feelings. You were born soon after, and then, so was scarlet. Your mother and father loved you... but it became to difficult to save the world, your father was too depressed...and he killed himself. Though, id say that your father and Scarlet's mother never stoped loving eachother." She smiled even though it was a sad story. I looked over to caleb and instantly knew he was too upset to talk.

"What i dont understand is why it was so hard..." i say. I mean it couldent be too hard to save the world...could it?

"Ah yes. well unfortunatly there were people that wanted to destroy the world. An evil organization called the D.O.W.T. They were determent to destroy it and the only way to do so was to break you mom and Caelum's father apart and thats what they tried to do. They wouldnt stop for anything. They thought nothing could get in their way. They were ruthless. But your parents wouldnt give in, they wouldnt give up. I guess after 10 years it was just too much for them." she says her smile was gone now, and her face held a frown.

With that i was ready to go. I had to get out of there, it was almost sufficating. "Well thank you for all of your help, but i think we have to go now" i say. I quickly grab Caelum's arm and practically drag him too the door.  

"Wait!" she yells. "One more thing" i turn around. "Once you master a power you get another one. You have 3 in all. Here take this. He can help you master them." Suddnely a peice of paper flies into her hand. OUT OF THIN AIR! Though im not that suprised, after what has happened nothing really surprises me.

"Thank you again" with that we rush out the door and Caelum starts walking really fast to the car. A really nice BMW by the way.

"Wait up!" i yell while running to catch up to him. Wow hes a really fast speed walker. "Im sorry i just really want to get home" he mumbles. "Look if its about your dad...im sorry and i can tell you i understand." i say. And i really did understand my mom comitted suicide too. I know how hard it can be. 

"you understand. YOU UNDERSTAND! Yea right no one understands! They all say they do but they dont!" i can see the tears in his eyes threatening to fall so i try to sound as calm as possible. "Look Caelum...i really do understand." before he has one of his outbursts i add "my mom commited suicide too. We really are oppisites." we both start crying and he puls me into a warm hug.
