Jealous?

I look over at the clock 11am. Geez I slept in...good thing its Saturday. I walk into the kitchen and see caelum cooking what seemed to be eggs and bacon. I sniff the air. Yup thats definitely bacon.

"Mmm that smells really good. I never knew you could cook." I say while sitting down at the island.

"Theres a lot of things you dont know about me scar." He answers

"Geez, why so mysterious so early in the morning?" I ask...I mean its true. I hear him laugh.

"I dont think its mysterious...more like informative. I mean you really dont know much about me." He places a plate with eggs and bacon infront of me. I starts eating then swallow.

"Well we can talk about ourselves later. I had a dream last night..." I say hesitatly. I dont know why but after last night I feel like he doesnt really take this seriously.

"What kind of dream" he asks. I began telling him aboit the dream. The people. How they were going to be kings. Everything.

"Wow. Interesting." He says a while after you're finishes talking

"wow all of that and all you have is interesting." I mutter under my breath, not really meaning for him to hear it, but I could tell by the flash of hurt in his eyes he did. But just as quickly as it came it vanished.

" I hope you dont mind but Amie is coming over today" Caelum says. Suddenly I feel something lurch in my stomach. Was it? No it couldn't be. Jealousy. I mean you dont even like caleum. Why would you be jealous? Whatever Scarlet you have more important things to worry about.

"no, no its fine. When is she coming I mean I thought we could look through that book for any clues...well for anything..." I say

"oh shes not coming until around three."

"Ok great" I finish eating around twelve. Great that gives me plenty of time with caelum. Wait. What? No I meant plenty of time to find clues. Damnit Scarlet get your sh** together.

"Ok how about we start looking in that old book we found last night" caelum says while sitting on my bed.

"Yea sure" I say and grab it from under my bed. I then sit next to caelum. "Ok so heres the plan. We look for anything out of the ordinary. Got it?" I ask

"got it" he replies. I open the book and our arms touch and I feel tingles go through my arm. Oh GOD Scarlet. Cut it. I do NOT need boy troubles right now.

After 30 minutes of looking intensely over the book we find nothing.

"Wait caelum! Look!" I say pointong out something on the page.

"Hmm...it looks like an...adress" he says looking at it closely.

"Well we will go there tomorrow I think you have company." Just then theres a knock on the door. Caelum goes to let Amie inside and I start thinking about everything. The dream. My mom. Our powers. But mostly I think of Caelum.

After dinner I decided to head to bed. I walk to caelums door and knock hoping im not interrupting anything. Caelum opened it. And I can tell I did intturupt something from his swollen lips and ruffled hair.

"Ok I just came to say goodnight" I say trying to hold in laughter at how silly caelum looks.

"goodnight scar" he says impatiently.

"goodnight lovbirds and dont make to much noise will you?" Before they could say anything I had already closed the door and walked to my room.

"You have to go to that adress. Tell her your my daughter. She will help you" my mom says.

"Ok mom I will I promise I will figure it out." I say looking at my mom. Geez she looks like an angel her white dress and the way the light hit her. She was so beautiful...too bad I got my dads looks.

"Thank you honey. I have to go now. I love you" she says smiling

"I love you too mommy." I say. She blows me a kiss then vanishes. I let a tear slide down my face and I fall into darkness.
