"Mom....is that you?" I ask looking at my mom and then i look around. All I see is white. I white shiny floor, marble maybe? And a white mist all around. Other than that its just me and my mother.
"Yes, sweetie its me" she smiles. I look at her. Shes so beautiful. Her long wavy chestnut hair that ends in the middle of her back. Her beautiful green eyes. Her perfect cheekbones and smile. Shes just so beautiful. I wish id gotten more of her beauty.
"WOW! Im so glad you're back! We have so much to catch up on!" I say excitedly. She frowns and put her hand on my shoulder.
"No, sweetie. This is not reality" she looks so sad.
"you mean...im dreaming?" I say tears threatening to fall from my watery eyes.
"not exactly. Look. I dont have much time. You need to find a book of water fire and the legend..." she says.
"wait what are you talking about?! What legend?! What book?!" I practically scream but she was already fading.
"I love you scarlet. Always remember that" she blows a kiss.
"No! Mom dont leave! What book! What legend!?"I scream tears falling down cheeks. But shes already gone.
-----------------
"Scarlet! Scarlet! Wake up!" Caelem yells while shaking me. I slowly open my eyes, my cheeks still fresh with tears and look around the ted room remembering I live here now.
"oh thank god. You were screaming and crying. What happened?" He asked, clearly worried
"my mom...she was here talking to me" I say trembling on my words still remembering the dream.
"Scarlet it was just a dream..." he puts his hand on my shoulder just like my mother did.
"NO! she was here! Like in a state in between a dream and reality" I practically scream. He looks straight into my eyes.
"I don't know why... i must be crazy, but I believe you..." he says.
"she says we need to find a book. Something about fire water and.....a legend" I say tears threatening to fall. NO! I will not cry! not infront of Caelem!
"Ok well you know where we have to go right?" He says removing his hand awkwardly.
"Library?" I answer.
"I think its a good place to start..." He says.
"ok lets go"I say seriously.
