He likes me!

"You know what I jut noticed" I exclaim while biting into my ham sandwich. This sandwich shop is literally one of the cutest places I've ever been. It was small with little round tables and an old hardwood floor. It also had one brick wall exposed and had plants hanging everywhere. And being here with Caelum just made it better.

"What?" He asked curiously, looking into my eyes. To think that one small gesture could make my heart melt...I can't believe it. I'm in love.

"Well we live together. We are friends...but we don't really know a lot about each other." I say. I've always had questions about Caelum but it's weird. We never just talk like we talk just...not like normal friends talk I guess.

"Yea that's true...we could play 20 questions..." He suggests. For some reason I'm excited because I really want to know more about the boy I love.

"Sure I have a question. What's your birthday?" Usually my first question would be what's your favourite colour but that would be stupid. It's blue, duh.

"It's may 18th. What's your middle name?" He asks. I never really tell people my middle name because I don't really like it but hey, I'm in love with him.

"It eve" I say blushing. We began asking stupid random questions before I asked one that's been bothering me for a while.

"i don't want to overstep my boundaries but I always wondered... why'd you leave your mom and live on your own?" I ask nervously. I know I probably hit a nerve but I've always wondered and maybe it would bring us closer. He looked a little upset but didn't object.

"After my dad died she began to drink. She would come home constantly drunk and she would hit me. So I left. I didn't want to deal with her anymore. Lets just say that it's one of the best decisions I've ever made." He said looking everywhere but me. And I don't know why. I guess i just acted on impulse but I kissed him lightly on the lips.

"I...I'm so sorry...I don't know what came over me I'm so stupid an-" I was cut off by him hugging me.

"It's ok. But now that you've asked me that I get to ask you why YOU ran away." He said and I guess it's only fair if I tell him since he told me.

"Well my dad was ok after my mom died. I mean he was depressed and closed off but I didn't think to much of it. It wasn't until he got a girlfriend that things got rough. I mean I hated her she hated me and she made my life a living hell. On top of that my dad always took her side. Think of the evil step mother in Cinderella." I said. It was no where near as bad as Caelum but I didn't think it mattered.

"That sucks" was all he said. We talked and asked more questions before deciding it was time to go. Once we got home though I was in for a surprise.

"So...what was that?" Caelum asked once we got inside the house. I just sighed. I wanted it to be a first date, I just wasn't sure if that's what he wanted.

"What do you want it to be?" I asked hoping not to sound to desperate. He just looked me strait in the eye and said something I never thought I'd hear.

"I think I like you Scar and I would love to take you out on a proper date. If you will let me." He asked. I literally thought my eyes would pop out of their sockets or my head was going to explode but I finally stammered out.

"I-I would l-love that."

Later that day we practiced our laser vision and by the end of the practice I think I've gotten my laser vision down pat and I was ready for my second power. Caelum on the other hand was still having trouble so I told him I could help him. So tomorrow. Monday. I will teach him how. And then on Wednesday we are going on our official date. I was really excited and can't believe Caelum said he liked me. I just can't believe it.

Hey guys! Anyways sorry it was late but my internet was being retarded. And sorry it was short.... You know what p, enough with sorry. Me and Kaitie have been discussing the book and something big is going to happen. We still have some chapters left but not many so...I'm getting quite emotional thinking its going to end.
