I was sitting at home. I ate lunch with Caelum but we didnt really talk. It wasnt awkward or anything it was just a nice silence after what happened. Ugh, what happened. I dont know why I keep thinking about it. Its like it haunts me. I mean I dont like him. Nothing even happened he was just getting back at some stupid girl. Jeez im lovesick and not even in love. Just then Caelum walks in
"oh hey Caelum" I say surprised at his sudden appearance.
"Scar I've been reading more into this riddle or prophecy or whatever it is. Two opposites combine. That must be us I mean we are opposites and we did just meet..." he says
"I guess and their powers must connect? How does that make any sense in our situation?" I ask doubtfully.
"well we are supposed to help eachother and I guess that if we dont get along or cant help eachother or something?" He says."The good and evil lie in their hands as they must decide how to change the world. That must mean that if we dont get along we will turn evil and destroy the world but if we dont we can help it? Actually im not really sure how this all works but im trying to figure it out" he says confidently.
"Well you work on that. But I think we have other things we need to talk about too" you say. He furrows his eyebrows in confusion and then frowns.
"oh, the kiss. If it bothers you that much I can assure you it meant nothing to me. I just dont like stupid people and I couldn't let Lizy get away with something as evil as that. I thought you felt the same way?" He says. I can see something in his eyes but I can figure out what it is. Hurt? Confusion? Anger? I couldn't tell.
"Ok I just wanted to make sure it was clear it didnt mean anything." I say even though I'm not sure I meant it. I slap myself mentally. OF COURSE I meant it. I CANT fall in love with someone totally opposite of me! God what am I thinking?
"Ok well im gonna...go to...you know, bed" he says. Back to his awkward self I see.
"Ok goodnight Caelum" I say snuggling into my own blankets
"goodnight Scar" with that he closes the door and walks to his room, and I turn my lamp off and immediately fall asleep.
After a dreamless sleep I wake up and look over at the clock 1:13 "oh my god" you groan. My mouth feels really dry so I decide to go and get a drink of water, but when I step out of the doorway I see something I never thought id see....
