Perfect moments

"You have no idea Caelum, you have no idea." I smile and then kiss him again. Sure my life has has its ups and downs, but it's moments like these that seem absolutely perfect. Like I don't have a care in the world. It's funny, because most of the times I have these perfect moments, it's with Caelum. He brought out something in me, a sweet vulnerable side. Someone that cares for others more than herself. A person who is happy. I've been more happy in the past couple of weeks with Caelum than I have my whole life. It's also at times like these where I am dying to tell him I love him. To show how I really feel, but I just can't risk it. I can't risk saying anything and then scaring him off. I'd rather keep my feelings inside then lose him altogether.

The next morning I woke up at 6:30am and couldn't fall back asleep. So I went downstairs and turned the tv on. I watched spongebob and then at around 7:00 I decided to make me and Caelum breakfast since he always makes it for me. So around 30 minutes later, after 3 tries at toast without burning it i finally gave up and I was making my way up the stairs with a tray that had heart shaped pancakes, bacon, eggs, and of course a glass of orange juice. When I get to Caelums door I quietly knock and then walk into the room.

"Caelum?" I say. He moves a little but doesn't wake up. So I try the next method. I trailed a line of kisses from his temple all the way to his lips and then I pulled away.

"Get up." I whispered in his ear and he doesn't wake up. Ok next method. I grab the pillow next to him and hit him in the head with it. Hard.

"Ow! What the heck was that for?!" He yells in his cute morning voice. I place the tray on his lap and then kiss him.

"I made you breakfast. I'm gonna go get changed while you eat and then we can do something." I say getting up and heading to the door.

"Humph, I'm not even gonna say thank you since MY HEAD STILL HURTS!" He yells and I walk out. I go take a shower and then get dressed and straiten my hair.

"So what are we doing for our date?" I ask once we get home from practice. Which was super boring may I add. The only good thing that came out of it was that Robert said I was close to mastering my second power. And it was a good thing too. It was already Wednesday so I only had 3 days until the battle and I wanted to be as prepared as possible. Those men seemed pretty evil, who knows what they have up their sleeves. Needless to say I was pretty scared. I just don't know what's going to happen. Like what if something happened to Caelum, I don't know what I'd do. Anything was possible but all I knew is that we had to do our best. For not just ourselves, but for the good of the world.

"I was thinking about going to a restaurant I know." He says looking me in the eye.

"Sure that sounds great." I answer. I can't wait. This is an actual date. A real date. With the boy I love, and I was really excited.

"You never told me it was a fancy restaurant!" I hissed in a hushed tone, across the table to Caelum trying not to make a scene. I felt so out of place. I was wearing jeans and people all around us were wearing fancy outfits. I could see the look of amazement on people faces and they turned to the other people at their table and whispered to them about us. Some of them even pointed.

"Well SORRY. If it makes you feel any better I think you look beautiful in anything you wear." He says. I was now blushing, partly because of embarrassment partly because of Caelums statement.

After our dinner which consisted of lobster and a Cesar salad. It was delicious by the way. We both headed home and went to sleep. And of course I had to dream of the two men.

"Do you think they know what we are planning?" One man asks the other. They were sitting at tables in an old run down diner. It looked like it was 60's themed with the checkered floor and jukebox.

"Of course they do nimrod. They just don't n know how big it's going to really be. It going to be 2 against hundreds. I'm not even worried. We've been planning this moment for years."

"Whatever you say boss. I still think we should be careful though. They are really powerful." He says looking down at his food.

"Yea I know." He sighs. Then just like that my dream turns to darkness.
