I woke up that morning to the sound of my alarm clock going off and to Lydia laying on top of me. I reach over and turned off my alarm clock.
"Come on Lydia. Time.to get up or we'll be late for school." I said and she groaned.
"I don't want to get up. I'm too comfy." She whined.
"Well I got to take a shower so I'm getting up." I said as I was able to pry her off of me. She just poured and I let out a chuckle. I quickly went through my morning routine and I walked out the bathroom only to see that Lydia was in the middle of changing and was currently only in her undergarments. She let out a high pitched squeal and grabbed the sheets to cover her. Instantly a low growl erupted from my chest. I walked over to her and yanked the blankets from her.
"We've been through this. I will always think your beautiful no matter what." I said as I pulled her close to me. She blushed and instantly looked down to hid her face. I lifted her head by her chin until she was looking me in the eyes.
"No matter what, I will always think your beautiful." I said as I placed a kiss on her forehead. "Finish getting dressed now. I'm going to go get my clothes so I can get dressed as well." I said as I walked away and went into my closet. I grabbed some black skinny jeans that had natural cuts in them and a blue v neck t shirt along with some black and blue Jordan's. I walk out and then Lydia gave me a shocked look.
"Did you seriously just get changed in the closet?" She asked and I nodded.
"Yeah, hey I'm going downstairs real quick I'll be right back though. Finish whatever you need to." I said and then I walked out my room. I was making my way down stairs when Earl walked up to me.
"Lady Kendra. I took the liberty in getting Lady Lydia some clothes. Would you like for me to get her more for when she stays here. I can use the empty space in your closet for her." He said and I nodded.
"Yeah thanks Earl. The clothes fit her great by the way." I said and he nodded.
"I'm glad they do. Now if you'll excuse me." He said as he bowed. "I'll be on my way." He added and then walked away. I walked down to the kitchen and saw my mom drinking a cup of coffee while reading the newspaper. She's always been one to read the newspaper in the morning.
"Hey mom good morning." I said. Then she looked up and gave me a smile.
"Hey honey. Just so you know I won't be here this Friday. Will you be having another party?" She asked and I nodded.
"Yeah mom. Me and the guys were planning on going and getting the stuff for the party today after school for tomorrow. " I said and she nodded.
"Just don't be smoking anything. You can drink but no smoking. You know how I feel about smoking." She said and I nodded.
"I know mom. I won't, I promise." I said ans she smiled. I walked back upstairs and saw as she was brushing through her hair.
"Hey there beautiful, you almost ready?" I asked and she nodded.
"Yeah just finished up. Come on. We can go now." She said as she walked over to me. I smiled and grabbed her hand. Together we walked out to my car and drove to the school. As soon as I stopped the car I looked at her.
"Don't open the door." Was all I said as I got out and made my way to her side of the car. I saw as people looked at me confused as to why I was going to the other side of my car when it's usually only me in my car. I opened the door and she got out smiling at me.
"Could you be any more corny?" She asked with a grin.
"I could but I don't want to be Edward Cullen. Plus I'm way better looking than he is without having to sparkle." I said and she giggled. "Come on now. Lets go." I said as I grabbed her hand and shut the door behind her.
"Everyone's staring." She said.
"Let them. It's doesn't matter." I said and she shook her head.
"It's amazing how carefree you are." She said and I just smiled. We walked up to the guys who had huge grins on their faces.
"Hey Ken, hey Lydia. We still up for going to get the stuff for the party today after school?" Nick asked and I nodded.
"Yeah we are." I replied.
"Cool is Lydia coming too?" George asked.
"Well she is staying with me so yeah."I said.
"Um, Kendra I kind of have to go home today. You know how strict my father is." She said and I nodded.
"I just figured you would want to hang out more today." I said.
"I do! Look can we um, talk about this later on?" She asked and I nodded. We walked into the school together and all my morning classes went by rather fast. It was lunch time now and me and Lydia were the only ones in the hallway.
"Can we talk now?" She asked and I nodded.
"Yeah go ahead beautiful." I said.
"Okay, I mean it's not like I don't want to hang out with you. I do a lot. I enjoy being with you but my father is very strict. You heard him yesterday. I just think it'll be better if I go home today." She said and I nodded.
"That's fine beautiful. I understand. I'll talk to coach a get us a free be. Now let's go get some lunch." I said and she smiled. We walked to the cafeteria and ate our meals.
The rest of the day went by fast as well and I was able to get us a free be for athletics. We're now out side her house which wasn't really all that far from my place. It was like a fifteen minute walk at least.
"Remember you can come over anytime you want. You know where I live so just stop by. It shouldn't take us long to get all the stuff for the party. Maybe about an hour or so, so if you want to come over after you can." I said and she nodded.
"Okay thank you for the ride Ken." She said and I nodded.
"No problem beautiful. You should go now. See ya later." I said and she smiled as she got out the car. I watched her as she walked to her front door and then walked in. As soon as the door closed behind her I drove off so the guys and I could hurry with getting the stuff for the party.
