I was out side my mom's door and I knocked.
"Come in." She said. I walked and she barely looked at me.
"Look mum I'm sorry I yelled at you." I started to say.
"Kendra. Who the hell are those people and what are they doing here? Also who is that little girl? You better start explaining right now." She said.
"Look mum, it's a long story. I will explain it to you but I can't right now. Those people mean no harm. They are here for reasons you won't understand yet. But I promise as soon as I can I will tell you. I swear mum. You know I don't like keeping things from you and I won't start doing it now. Just give me a few minutes and I'll come and explain everything. I swear." I said and she nodded.
"Fine. But I want the whole truth." She said and I smiled.
"And you'll get it. I swear. But right now I have some business I need to handle. The little girls name is Jocelyn by the way." I said and then I walked out the room.
"Alpha." I heard Jocelyn say.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"If you want I can show you to your new office since it is the first time in it." She said and I nodded.
"Yeah that'd be fine." I said and then we walked up the stairs. There were now four floors in the house and Jocelyn informed me that the whole top floor was for the Alpha Blood lines only. There was of course my and Lydia's room then there's what I'm guessing is my new office along with a few other doors. I walked in and I figured even with all the guys in it, it would be crouded but it really wasn't.
"Finally Alpha Roberts. I'm sure that all these guards aren't necessary for your Luna." Alpha Jackson said.
"Call me Kendra or Ken. Alpha Roberts is to formal for allies. And yes it is necessary. At least until I know you better." I said as I pulled Lydia over to me. I sat in the chair behind my desk and I pulled Lydia to my lap.
"Y'all can leave now. Thanks guys. Nick stay. As Beta you should hear this." I said and he nodded. "Now you said something about treaties." I said and Alpha Jackson nodded.
"Yes. Call me Mark by the way. Now all the Alphas including me go by treaties. I'm sure I don't have to explain what treaties are. But say for instance you needed to cross through my land you would have to call me and ask for my permission so I don't think it's a declaration for war. It keeps us all at peace. So I brought the papers for your agreement with the treaty." He said as he pulled out a a few papers from his brief case. "As you can see all the Alphas have signed it. And here's a map of the U.S. that shows each Alpha's territory with their names and numbers. If you would put your signature there underneath the rest of the Alphas well be set to go." He said. I skimmed over the papers and saw as even his name was signed on it. I grabbed a pen that was on my desk and I signed my name.
"Thank you Kendra, for all your co-operation. It makes everything easier. Hopefully we'll seen each other soon again." He said as he stood up with his mate.
"Bye Lyddy!" Natalie said.
"Bye Nat!" Lydia said as she went to give her a hug. I let out a low growl and Lydia quickly backed away. Natalie just chuckled and waved at me.
"Bye Kendra."She said and then they walked out my office.
"Nick will you go get my mum. Show her the way here." I said. Nick nodded and then left. I stood up and went to Lydia.
"So when did you and her become besties?" I asked.
"I don't know. Once you and Mark where talking we were talking. She's a great person." Lydia said.
