"Have a good day at school hun. Be safe. Oh and make sure you have your key to the house. I'm working late tonight." My mom called from the kitchen.
"I always have it mom! You be safe too! I'll see you when you get home." I said and then I walked out the house. I smiled as I looked at my brand new car. My father had got it for me on my birthday so now my mom didn't have to drive me to school and I didn't have to take her car. I threw my bag in the passenger seat and started my car. It turned on smoothly and I backed out of the driveway. I was in no rush to get to school. Heck I was loved by everyone there. Even the teachers loved me. Having rich parents, a big house and all sorts of connections pays off at times and with me also being the star athlete in basically every team, and being the best at anything I wanted, I would say I had high school in the bag. Oh and did I mention I was lesbian. Yeah didn't think so. The girls all look at me as if I'm a guy and want me as they want any other jock. Oh and also most of the girls at my school tend to be bisexual so I could have a girlfriend if I wanted.
I parked my car in the parking lot of the school. Instantly I was met by my best buds. Carlos, Jake, Tim, Anthony, George, Mason, Trevor, Nick, and Luke.
"Hey! What up Ken!" Trevor shouted.
"What up dude." I said as a gave him a fist bump.
"Yo, you throwing another party this weekend?" Mason asked.
"Hell ya! I wou-"
"Hey Ken." A group of girls said as they walked by. I gave them one of my signature smiles and they walked off giggling.
"Damn Ken. I just don't know how you do it." George said.
"Hey sometimes your just born with that natural skill of being just too awesome." I said and we all started laughing. We walked to the school with me in the middle and all the guys following me. As we walked through the crowded hallway every one that saw us moved out of our way. Good thing being that me and my buds had all the same classes.
The day started to go by fast and the closer it got it felt like something was stirring in the back of my head. Then it was time for athletics. I loved athletics. Plus it was track season. I rushed to the locker room and quickly changed into my work out uniform. We all met on the track and the coach had us do stretches.
"All right ladies!" She yelled. "We're going to be starting off with a mile today! Remember it has to be less than nine minutes! If you don't get it you will have to try again tomorrow while everybody else moves on! Lets go! Break it out Kendra." She said. I nodded and broke the team out. All at once we started running. As soon as I did I felt a surge of energy and sped past everyone. I ran so fast that I knew I would soon over lap the other girls if I kept at it.
"There we go Kendra! Keep at it!" My coach yelled as I was already at my starting point. I wasn't even out of energy yet. I felt like I could do this forever. Soon I was going around the girls and making my way back to the front of them. It took me only a few more minutes to finish the rest of my laps and I stopped in front of my coach to get my time.
"Nice job. New personal best. 5 minutes tops." She said and I smiled.
"Well, you know my rule. Go change. Your the first to finish which means you get to go home early. See you tomorrow." She said and I nodded. I changed and went out to my car. I went home and quickly passed out on the couch.
