I opened my door and I tried to close it as quietly as possible to make sure I didn't anger my father.

"Where the he'll have you been?" He slurred as he came to view.

"I w-was where y-you told me to be." I stuttered.

"That'sss a fucking lie you stupid fag. I'm not retarded. You have new clothes now where did you get them." He said as he pushed me against the wall.

"A a girl at school gave them to me. I swear father." I said. I was already afraid of him. Things never ended up good when he was drunk.

"Your still fucking lying. Maybe a good beating will make you tell me the truth." He said as he grabbed my hair and slammed me against the wall. I instantly heard a loud ringing in my ears as I was now dizzy due to him banging my head against the wall.

"No, father please." I said.

"Don't tell me what to do." He said as he grabbed me by my hair once again and threw me to the other wall. He then grabbed me by my throat and sighed.

"This can be very simple. Just tell me the truth." He said.

"I did father. I swear." I replied. And then he tightened his grip. I felt as I was no longer able to get air. I thrashed around to try and get loose but there was no luck. Then I brought my hands down to his and dug my nails in his hand and began to scratch at them.

"Ow! You BITCH!" He yelled as he threw me to the floor. Immediately I was trying to regain my breath. "Will you never learn?" He asked as he kicked me in the stomach, making my breath leave me once more. I tried to crawl away only to have him kick my once more. He continued to kick me for what seemed like ages but I knew it was that long.

"Worthless piece of shit." He said as he knelt down and punched me in the face. Instantly I tasted that familiar metallic taste of blood that came to me everytime he beat me. "Wasting my damn time. I'm going to the bar." He said as he walked out the house while slamming the door behind him. Then I blacked out. The last thought I had was that I needed Kendra.
