We were in class laughing and doing our work at the same time. It was what we usually did. The teachers like us and.they really didn't have a choice because they were part of the pack. There was a knock at the door and the teacher went to answer it.
"Lydia you're needed at the front office." He said. We all stopped laughing and I nodded. I scooted out my desk making sure not to hit my belly as I got out. Then Kendra shot up and grabbed my hand. I knew she would be coming with me.
"What are you doing miss Roberts. They called for Lydia. She is more than capable of getting there herself." The teacher said. Which only earn him a loud vicious growl from her. He bowed his head in submission and we both walked out the door.
"Do you know who's here?" I asked. She shook her head no then sniffed the air.
"The scent is familiar but I don't know we're from. But who ever it is has a drinking problem." She said. Then it hit me. It was my father. I just knew it was him. We walked into the sight of the front office and a man had his back towards us.
'That's my father Ken.' I said in the mind link and she let out a low growl. At that moment he started to turn around and Kendra stepped on front of me.
"Well, if it isn't it the mighty Alpha!" He said sarcastically. "I want my daughter. I can see her behind you now hand her over. She's coming home." He said which caused her to growl again.
"She's not going anywhere with you." Kendra growled as she took a step forward.
'Guys help now!' I said in the mind link to all the guys.
"She is coming home. I don't.care if you like it or not. End of story." My father said lowly.
"I dare you to try. It'll give me reason to kill you." She hissed. Then I heard the tapping of shoes down the hall way and then I knew they shifted because it sounded like paws hitting the ground. I heard growls and felt comforted as they formed a circle around me.
"Leave. I'm not going any where with you." I said as I came to Kendra's side. His eyes widened when be say my belly.
"You little slut." He spat at me. The next thing I know. I hear a loud growl come from Kendra as she tackled him to the ground.
I gasped as she started to punch him furious. I saw blood come out of his nose as she punched him.
I honestly don't know what he was thinking. Kendra basically runs this town now. With her being the Alpha of everyone.
I was pulled put of my thoughts when I saw the guys trying to pull Kendra away from him. They finally managed to and she immediately came to my side. She enveloped me in a.hug and glared at my father.
"Don't ever talk about my mate like that ever again or I won't hesitate to kill you." Kendra growled. Then.my father got up.
"You have no idea who my friends are. Your in for a ride pup." He said and then he left. She turned back to me and I already knew what she was going to say.
"How are the warriors coming along Mason?" She asked.
"Wonderful. They are able to beat Elias's warriors now." He said.
"Good. Lydia is to have guards with her at all times. Even if I'm with her. I don't care. Is that clear?" She asked and he nodded.
"Okay Ken. I'll get right on it." He said as he pulled out his phone and walked away. She looked back at me and looked all over my body.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Making sure you're okay." She said.
"Babe. I'm fine. I wasn't near you when you were beating the life out of him." I joked and she chuckle.
"Babe please. If I was going to beat the life out of him he would be dead. That's a promise to you." She said. I smiled knowing that as long as I was with her I'd be untouchable. I was safe with her. I knew she'd be a great mom to our baby. I knew she'd be strong even with out me. It was a sad though to think about but it was something I had to except. This is my place. I'll be happy knowing my baby gets to live a beautiful life.
Hopefully I'll get to see her before I leave...
