Chapter 33 Kendra

"Spread out! We need to find them! Look for an old concrete house. If you find it notify everyone and then we will meet you there. Understand. Now go!" I yelled.

Then they all so put up. We were hoping they would be found before we got to Marks territory. I knew it would take longer to find them but the trip home would be quick. We just had to find them.

We've been searching for 30 minutes now, and we were coming close to Marks territory.

'Any signs yet?' I questioned everyone in the mind link.

'No Alpha.' They replied. I sighed and shook my head.

'Alright. Meet up with me. We'll enter the territory all at once. Don't go across with out me.' I ordered.

'Yes Alpha.' They all said. I waited until every single one of them were there. Once they were we walked over. Instantly we were met by guards.

"You are trespassing Alpha Roberts." One of them said.

"I am not. I have permitting your Alpha. We mean no harm, we just need to look around." I said.

"We need to take you to our Alpha." He said.

"Fine if need be." I huffed.

It took us five minutes to get to the pack house but only because we ran. We were met outside by Mark.

"Did you not tell your men we were passing through?" I asked him as we came into view.

"No I didn't. My apologies, but I was hoping you could fill me in and maybe I could help you out." He said.

"Alright let's make this quick." I said.

"Kendra!" A familiar voice yelled. Then a series of growls came. I turned to see Kelly and Victor standing at the edge of the woods. Then I saw as Mark's men started walking towards them. I growled and ran so that I was in front of them.

"They are my mates parents. They won't hurt any one." I said and they all backed down. Then I turned to face them.

"What are y'all doing here? You two were supposed to stay at the house." I said.

"This is my daughter and future grandchild we are talking about. My daughter was taken away and you expect me to just sit back and do nothing. No. I am not some damsel in distress. If I get my hands on him first I will kill him my damn self. Your job is to get them back home. And Paige as well." Kelly said.

"I understand she's your daughter. I will get them back. They are my family now too." I said. "Look just hang back for a minute. I need to talk to the Alpha here okay. To see if he can help us. Just don't cause any trouble." I ordered and they nodded. I walked back over to Mark and from there we went to his office where I told.him everything I know.

"They are well educated. But not smart enough. If they think that shooting one will cause both of their wolf's to go to sleep they are mistaken. From what I get out of this is they were hoping when Paige said that she could feel her wolf then Lydia would think that she wouldn't be able to either. But Lydia, Lydia is smart. She knows. Now a concrete house." He said. He got up from his chair and grabbed the map of the territories. He then set it on his desk.

"Come here. Look. This is the only area close enough even for vampires to reach in a day. We searched the area once before while there was no sign of occupation and I do believe there was a concrete house somewhere in that area. My men and I will be happy to join you. But we leave in the morning. With vampires on his side they'll have the advantage at night. They are used to the surroundings and it will be better to catch them during the day. When they least expect it." He said.

"No we leave now. How can you expect me to leave my mate there over night! She's pregnant and will be having my baby soon! I can't leave her over night. I can't." I said.

"Kendra I understand. But trust me. We will leave as soon as the sun starts to rise. Then we will be half way there. From there we will set up camp. Rest and then set onwards to the concrete house." He said.

"It'll take two days to get there! What the hell! We must leave tonight!" I yelled.

"Kendra give the men a rest. They will be working as hard as possible on the way for your mate. Give them a good rest and meal for tonight." He said. I let out a growl as I knew he was right.
"As soon as the sun rises." I said. And he nodded. Then I walked out and told everyone what was going to happen. Kelly and Victor weren't so happy about it but they still stayed back as I told them to. Trust me I didn't want to stay while my mate was away from me. I didn't know how I was going to be able to sleep. I didn't want to. I wanted my mate back. I missed her.

'Baby are you okay?' I asked in our mind link. Nothing. 'Baby. Are you okay? What's wrong? Answer me.' I pleaded.

'Kendra. When will you get here? Where are you?' She asked.

'Im at Marks. He knows where y'all are. We.will be headed that way as soon as the sun starts to rise. It'll take us two days to reach you though. I'm sorry Lydia. I failed to protect you. I failed.' I told her.

'Don't beat yourself up. Stay strong. Every thing will be okay. It will be. Us. Our baby. Everything. Okay. We will be. Now if y'all are leavening early in the morning then you need to get some rest okay. Please baby. For me. You need your strength. And remember to eat. I need you strong okay baby. Make sure Mason eats good to. And Paige wants you to tell him that she wants him to eat and be strong for her. And that she'll see him soon.' She said.

'Okay baby I will. Just be careful.' I said.

'Will do.' She replied. And that was the end of our conversation.

The rest of the night I did as she said. I told Mason what Paige said and he did what she said as well. He said that his leg still hurt and we went ahead and got it checked by the pack doctor here. He said that it was because Paige had hurt her leg. That he was feeling her pain. He was infuriated knowing that someone hurt his mate and he was determined to kill who ever did it. We both wanted blood. We all wanted blood. And blood we were going to get...
