Chapter 37 Kendra

I woke up early like I usually do and saw that Nyx was now awake. She was making the most adorable baby noises I have ever heard. When she saw me awake she smiled and giggled. I slowly got up and went to her. I was about to pick her up when I smelt something revolting.

"Eww Nyx. Why didn't you say something? I was about to pick you up too." I said and she by rates out laughing. That's when I notice that she was already bigger than what she was yesterday. I shook my head and decided to deal with that later on today because Nyx needed to be changed.

I was done changing Nyx and I decided to tickle her. She laughed so much for a small child.

"Ken, what are you doing?" I heard Lydia ask. I turned around to see her with a smile on her face as she sat up in bed.

"Nothing. Just playing with Nyx. Sorry if we woke you." I said and she smiled.

"No it's fine. I love seeing the two of you bonding so well already." She said and I smiled. I picked Nyx up and took her to Lydia.

"How the? Ken. Did you notice that Nyx is bigger than she was yesterday?" Lydia asked. I could hear the panick in her voice.

"Yeah I noticed. I'm sure it'll be fine though." I said reassuringly. She nodded and looked back at Nyx. Nyx was still making those adorable baby noises which made Lydia want to play with her.

About an hour passed when the doctor walked in.

"Okay so I've wrote down what has happened and I'd like to keep an eye on the baby as she grows. From what I understand her growing is faster than an ordinary pup." He said. Then he looked up from his clip board and gasped when he saw that Nyx had grown over night. "My my. Wasn't that fast." He said. "Any ways I'll leave y'all to get dressed and then I'll have the paper work ready to fill out." He says and then he walks out the room. I help Lydia get dressed and I get dressed while she is dressing Nyx.

Once we are all dressed we walk out of the room and to the doctors desk.

"Alright. Here are the papers. Just fill them out and bring them back to me when you're done. It shouldn't take long." He said. We both nodded and started filling them out. It didn't take long for them to be filled out and we gave them back to the doctor. Then we walked out. As soon as we walked out the doors to the infirmary we were met by the whole pack. They were cheering and clapping their hands. I couldn't help the smile that formed on my face. I looked at Lydia and she had the same smile on her face. I looked down at Nyx and saw her laughing her little head off.

"Lydia baby. I have some things I have to handle real quick. Here take Nyx. I'll be back as soon as possible okay love." I said as I handed her Nyx.

"What stuff? Why can't you just do it tomorrow? Lets celebrate. We should have a party for Nyx. Come on Ken." She pleaded.

"Go ahead and start with out me. I'll be back soon enough. Its just a quick errand. I have to pick some stuff up for Nyx anyways." I said as I kissed her cheek and walked off.

"Yeah. This is great. Thanks." I said.

"Anytime,Alpha." The she wolf said.

"I only need it this one time." I said.

"We'll come back, you know if you ever need anything." She said flirtatiously. I just gave her a small smile and nodded. Then I walked out the room.
