~Important Author's Note! Please read!~
It had been five months since the incident at Kimihito's house and the park. You had a talk with the boys about what was going on and came to a mutual agreement that five months would be a sufficient amount of time to officially decide on who you would marry. Those five months passed quickly and were eventful. You split your time up as evenly as possible between all seven of the boys and took some days to have to yourself or to visit other people. They allowed it, but all of this didn't stop them from squabbling among each other. You had to break up over twenty fights between them before things turned too violent. You of course lectured them afterward on the importance of peace keeping, especially in a house that didn't belong to them.
Now that those five months you had promised them were over, you had to come to a decision, which you did with some difficulty since all of the boys were amazing in their own ways. After breakfast one morning, you gather all seven of them into your living room. They each took their usual spot to sit or lay down at in their centered around the coffee table. You sat down with them on an armchair. You explained to them that Ms. Smith would be there momentarily, granted she even remembered to show up for the choosing of your future husband like she was supposed to. They nodded and sat quietly with you, deciding it was for the best that they didn't press you for information as to who you picked. They'd all know in time, each of them hoping that it was himself that you picked. Naturally, you'd have to deal with six broken hearted monster boys for a short time until the marriage laws were regulated for everyone and the six monster boys you didn't choose could find someone else to be happy with for the rest of their lives.
As you had suspected, Smith was late to the meeting of sorts. She looked like she had just woken up not that long ago, her hair a bit messy and her black government issued glasses thrown on top of her head in her hair haphazardly. You rolled your eyes and got up to get her some coffee. She looked like she needed it. You came back soon and offered it to her. Ms. Smith smiled at you gratefully and took it before sitting down in the chair you had been sitting in before she arrived. You were fine with this as you planned on standing when you told the group your decision. Smith had a clipboard and pen with her. The clipboard had papers on it, probably for evaluation later that you and the boy of your choosing would have to go over with her and sign. That was going to have to wait though.
You stood of to the side so that everyone could see your face. Your hands were folded neatly in front of you as you looked around the room at all seven of your monster boys. A tear made its way to your eye but you quickly blinked it away. Now was not the time to get emotional about this. You needed to get out what you wanted to say quickly before everyone died of anticipation.
"The five months we decided on for me to decide who I am to marry have come and gone quickly," you said calmly. "I just want you all to know that before I announce who I've decided on, I will still love you all. These past almost two years or more have been some of the greatest times of my life, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. You've made my life such an experience that I thought I'd never have had it not been for you all being in it. Thank you all so much."
They boys looked touched at your words. Oliver seemed as though he was about to cry though, so you offered him a kind smile. He smiled back and held back his tears. The other boys stared at you in anticipation. They needed to know who you chose, and they needed to know right that second.
"So, without any further delay, my choice for my husband is..."
~___- Luciano -___~
"... Luciano."
The naga perked up and got up from his spot on the couch to slither to you. He hugged you close, wrapping his tail around your legs and up to your waist. He purred and nuzzled his head against yours on the side that didn't have his curl. You hugged him back as you mouthed an "I'm sorry" to the other boys, who all looked devastated, even Andrés. Ms. Smith was already filling out the paperwork necessary for the marriage to take place. You were happy that Luciano was happy, but you were more so happy that he wasn't rubbing it in the other boys' faces about him being chosen and not them. A few of them, such as Matthieu and Allen attempted to hide their disappointment, key word being attempted.
