You turned you body to look at who spoke. Gilen seemed a bit disappointed that your game of cards was interrupted, but he didn't dare voice his opinion on the matter. Matt stood there with his arms crossed over his broad, dark blue t-shirt clad chest. He had a red plaid flannel shirt on over top of it and left it unbuttoned with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. His hair was also pulled back into its usual ponytail with those few sections hanging at the side of his face to frame it. You shook your head in response to his question as you set your cards face down on the coffee table.
"No. I plan on actually wearing normally clothing for our date."
"You do realize that we're going for a run to start off, right?"
You groaned as you slumped into the couch cushions. "It's a Saturday! Can't we just do something relaxing?"
"No. You have yet to go running with me since I was put in your care, and I would like to."
You looked down at the coffee table. He wasn't lying. You hadn't gone out on a run with him at all, and you felt guilty for it. It wasn't your fault though. The paperwork for all of the boys took forever for you to complete since there was so much for the four of them. Plus, you had to have contractors and interior designers to remodel rooms for them so they would feel more at home and to accommodate for any special needs they may have. That only added on to your paperwork load, which stressed you out a bit. Perhaps going for a run would be good for you then. After all, exercise is one of the best relievers of stress.
After a small sigh, you got up. You'd need to change into more athletic and socially acceptable clothing to go running in. You were about to leave to go change but stopped when you felt Gilen touch your hand. He gave you a pleading look before looking at the playing cards in his hand and on the table. You quickly sat back down and apologized while grabbing your set of cards. He gave you a small nod of understanding and the two of you continued to play. Matthieu raised an eyebrow at how the two of you played Rummy. Gilen still wouldn't speak besides his nickname for you and a few other words, so he ended up creating a thin layer of slim on the surface of the coffee table, which had a glass table top with wood underneath, and wrote when he had Rummy in the slime with the back of a pencil.
The two of you finished your game rather quickly with Gilen winning overall once more. You helped him clean up the cards and put them away before getting up again. This time you were able to go to your room with no objections from either male and change. You traded in your regular bra for a sports bra to have better chest support while running before throwing on an all sport black tank top instead of your typical one and your hoodie. You then discarded your shorts and slipped into a pair of matching capri joggers. Your slippers were kicked off before throwing on white ankle socks and your sneakers. Afterward, you walked back downstairs to meet up with Matt.
The blond male, a French-Canadian as you found out, was waiting the kitchen for you. He tossed you an apple, which you promptly caught before it nearly hit you in the face. You sent him a small, playful glare to which he rolled his eyes with a smile.
"Hurry and eat. Drink some water too. We'll leave afterward."
"What about Gilen and the others? Shouldn't I make them some kind of breakfast for them to eat later?"
"They're grown men. They can fend for themselves."
"You just want me out of the house so you can be alone with me, don't you...?"
