A mistake is made,
And one is alone again.
A heart is played,
And one is in tears again.
It was a mistake,
And they berate,
They scream and yell,
They start to tell.
It was a joke to them.
But your mistake wasn't a joke to you.
Staring into conscious
Digs a hole of regret.
The idea becomes nauseous
As you stare at your debt.
It was an accident,
Nothing could go wrong.
Yet the future had other plans.
Hate consumes,
But one can't let hate define,
The real you.
Everything was ready,
For the most perfect of odds.
Everyone stood steady,
Giving a nod.
Then you look to find
And there is no sign.
Panic consumes,
Though there's no room,
You let them down,
You made things worse.
Trying hard,
One takes a break,
To gather oneself,
And to go to the lake.
The peace and calm,
Reflects all the wrong.
Sinking feeling,
Unhappy feeling,
Resolves in the right ways.
They are proud,
Because you learned.
The final challenge begins to arise,
As the faithful dance
And the rebels suprise.
They hate,
They kill,
They make it their will,
To bring you down
For what you have done.
Though it isn't innocent,
It was thought magnificent
To all those who rallied against
And to the entire world.
You made the mistake,
That caused their grudge,
Becasue you were the one
That decided to judge.
You see the light now,
The better one at last,
Becuase this incident made you
Vast.
It made you a better person,
For a better future.
"Wishing for Mistakes," is wishing for the self forgiveness humans hardly give themselves. Though the mistake might lead you to a wrong idea or to a wrong path, one can always use it as leverage for better days, better outcomes, and a better life. A mistake doesn't define who you are, its how you handle it that makes you the human you want to be.
