Wishing for Questions

The best intentions,

Have the deepest power.

They grip and squeeze,

A concentrated sour.

No one realizes,

What is real.

What is life,

What's its appeal.

They feed you words,

The best they can find.

They create a world

That's good in your mind.

It's real to everyone,

No one ever doubts.

Everyone wins,

Everyone shouts.

Imagining truth,

Is a reality no one wants.

The words they say

Are the ones they want.

Yet you fake a dream.

The fake is real.

The power is fear,

Hard like steel.

Lies and burdens,

On the mind,

You know

What's best for mankind.

So you hide and run,

In an endless cycle.

The future seems bleak,

In an endless spiral.

Courage rages on,

With bravery coming through.

You can't hide,

It's time they knew.

You let them find,

What you've made.

Stirring questions,

Being weighed.

The walls collapse,

No longer strong.

The people deciding,

What is wrong.

They chant for reform,

No power from above.

It only took one,

To give a shove.

Questions and questions,

New things alive.

The birth of society,

Only will thrive.

Questions and questions,

Stray from formal.

But that's okay,

Because that's normal.

"Wishing for Questions,"  is wishing for people to be able to make up their mind on what they want. Asking for what is right is okay. Asking for what is wrong is okay. It only takes one person to make others think about the answers to life's hardest mysteries themselves.
