A Rushing wind
Reaps the Earth.
It pushes far,
Collecting its worth.
Nature moves
With the power,
Fearing the dauntless
Time of hour.
Night is approaching,
Approaching fast.
Smells like sadness.
Smells will last.
No one can see
The deep emotions,
The parts of nature,
That cleanse the oceans.
With an invisible beauty
It sings for all time,
Giving gifts
That scrape the grime.
The longer it goes,
The more gray consumes
The sky, the heavens
Silencing tombs.
Small drops begin
Small drops will end,
With rage in the center
Finding a friend.
Looking deep inside,
Isn't as bad,
It brings a peace
That's never been had.
Waves wash away
The sins and guilt
Leaving alone
The newly rebuilt.
It's the simple things
That bring the most pleasure,
The greatest desires,
And the greatest treasures.
Though stated again,
In many different ways,
It's time to appreciate
The times when it rains.
It gives a silence
To everything said,
It fixes things
To no longer spread.
"Wishing for Rain," is wishing for the moments where one may just watch, look and feel the rain. Though some hate it, rain brings life and many needed things to bring the emotions back to an inner balance. Stepping in the rain may even help clear the mind and wash away any regrets, guilt or confusion. Though it may be a temporary fix, the rain helps. One just has to let it help.
