Rose groaned as a alarm went off, it wasn't the alarm clock. she threw her hand back and hit the Doctor's chest. His eyes shot open.

"Fix it.." Rose mumbled and stuffed her head into her pillow to block out the sound.

She was not a morning person. The Doctor sat up and looked around. The noise was coming from the kitchen. Getting up he realized it was the smoke alarm. They hadn't left any candles burning or the oven on last night so there was no reason for the alarm to be going off. Looking around the room there was no smoke. Picking up the broom that sat between the fridge and wall, he hit the alarm with the handle. The alarm quickly shut off, and the Doctor went back into bed.

The Doctor snuggled closer to Rose it was chilly in the house. Actually it always was, just for this reason. Closing his eyes, it only seemed like moments later when Rose was hitting his chest again.

"Fire alarm..." She mumbled, obviously knowing there no fire. The Doctor jumped up and hit it with a broom again. Only this time it was coming from the guest bathroom, he never remembered one being in there.

"Hurry up!" Rose said.

"Why don't you come fix it?" The Doctor called back.

"You really expect me to get up? It's four in the morning."

The Doctor finally got back into bed. Only seconds later the fire alarm in their bedroom went off. Rose groaned.

"We need to get new ones." The Doctor said.

"Why don't you just sonic it?" Rose asked

"Oh, I forgot I had a sonic."

"You. Are such an idiot sometimes." Rose said rolling over to look at him. He smiled brightly and leaned over to grab his sonic. It wasn't perfect but it worked. With a couple sparks, the alarm silenced. The Doctor looked at Rose once more and placed a kiss on her nose.

"Well, I'm going back to sleep now." he said yawning.

"You're only going to two hours." Rose said laughing.

"Those two hours, I'll be dreaming of you." He said.

Rose blushed and snuggled into his chest, "Love you."

The Doctor kissed her head, "Love you too."
