The new, half-human, Doctor stood in the mirror of the Tyler's mansion. This was very new. Rose was just down the hallway, His Rose. Naturally, a warm, giddy feeling filled him when he thought about being near Rose. It wasn't inappropriate, it was just a happy feeling. He smiled before stripping off his blue suit and laying in the uncomfortably large bed. Obviously made for two. He laid in the bed, exhausted from the days events, but his mind whirled. Not allowing sleep to come. So, he just stared at the celling; playing back and reviewing today's events.

Rose awoke with a start. Her eyes wide and breathing heavily. Her body wouldn't calm itself down. Rushing, still telling itself it was in danger. She stood shakily, allowing her feet to take her to the Doctor's door. Her fist gently knocking and hearing a grumble from his throat.

Her feet padded to where he laid. His brow eyes looked into hers. Her's were full of terror and his became full of compassion. The look told Rose she was becoming safer, and as soon as he opened his arms. She knew she was home. His gentle mutters of reassurance and the swipe of his thumb down her arm calmed her. He body relaxed and melted into him. His hugs and little kisses on her chin, forehead, lips, told her something. It told her he was willing. Willing to take something even if he could lose it. She wasn't going to leave him. She was going to become lost in his love. The strong love he held for her.

He held her close, making sure she couldn't get far. He knew she would be reluctant, but who knew if she were to realize? Realize that he wasn't him. That fear stood at the back of his mind, but for now. She laid in his arms, recovering from a nightmare, like it should be. He breathed every little bit of her in, and allowed his arms to trail around her hips. Placing his hands just under her shirt. He rubbed gentle circles, he didn't want to go farther than this. This was perfect.

Perfect for them.

Wrapped up in each other, comforting each other. From their life's events. Not just the days. Gentle, affectionate, touching. It was simple, like they were. Nothing needs to be too extravagant, just being near each other would be good. No, he held her in his arms. He wasn't going to let her go easily. He would fight for her. Give up everything. Because she was truly his heaven. Heaven is real; because he held it in his arms.

It was the Doctor and Rose Tyler. Like they were really meant to be.
