Just Dance

The Doctor walked around the love seat holding his hands behind his back. Rose just rolled her eyes.

"I'm guessing this is valentines?" She asked smiling.

"You guessed correctly!" He said. He held out a teddy bear and a box of chocolates, a goofy smile plastered on his face.

Rose's smile became wider, "No roses?"

"That's a bit odd, getting roses for someone named Rose?"

"That's what all my boyfriends have done."

"Well I'm not your ordinary boyfriend am I?" he asked waking back around and hugging Rose from behind, he placed a gentle kiss on her shoulder.

"Your valentines isn't here." Rose said smirking.

The Doctor began to list the things that he had asked for, which didn't seem to stop.

"It'll be here in a hour or two, why don't you make tea?"

The Doctor sighed and walked to the kitchen, the radio crackled to life as the Doctor slid back into the living room

"And I would walk five-hundred miles and I would walk five-hundred more..."

The Doctor held out his hand to Rose and smiled, "Care to dance?"

She shook her head, "You're suppose to be making tea."

"Come on, just dance." He smiled

She laughed as he pulled her up, taking her hands and swinging her around. Singing along to the song.

"You're so childish." Rose laughed

"And you love it."

He picked her up and spun her around. They both laughed like kids.

"All I wanna do is find a way back into love.

I can't make it through without a way back into love."

The Doctor set down Rose gently, pulling her closer to him and placing a hand on her waist. She smiled mischievously. He began to dance with her properly, twirling her around and shuffling.

"I remember when use to be clueless about dancing." Rose said.

He dipped her unexpectedly, she let out a little squeak. Only laughing continued afterwards.

"I was decent."

"At that one dance."

"Shush."

"All of time and space and you only learn one dance?" Rose seemed to whisper.

"I never really enjoyed dancing, not until you were around."

Rose bit her lip, the Doctor looked at his feet. A small tint of pink forming on his cheeks.

"'Cause I don't wanna lose you now

I'm lookin' right at the other half of me

The vacancy that sat in my heart

Is a space that now you hold

Comin' back here to you once I figured it out

"I think it our song." Rose said.

Listening for a second, the Doctor resumed his dancing. Twirling Rise again, but this time pulling her close afterwards and placing a kiss gently on her nose. Then stepping out and back in.

"I think it is." He said.

She began to sing along, her voice catching the pitches perfectly.

"You never told me you could sing." The Doctor said smiling.

Rose looked away, only once again finding herself looking into those deep, brown, eyes.

"Something I just never realized."

He laughed and leaned down over her, gently nuzzling her like a cat would before kissing her deeply. She responded quickly, tangling her fingers into his hair. He gently bit her lip as she smiled; she pulled him down closer to her. The air seemed to become thick between them. The Doctor just pushed it away. He lifted her up and sat them both the couch, not breaking the kiss. The Doctor paused to catch his breath, she nuzzled her head into his neck. Leaving the heat of her kiss on it as she looked him in the eyes.

He stared back, her eyes seemed to go from a dark yellow to dark brown in second. her eyes were filled with mischief that would have to wait till tonight.

"Have I mentioned I love you more than the world today?" He asked.

Rose shook her head, "But I love you too."

The Doctor ran his hand through her hair, only seconds later the doorbell rang.

"I think your gift is here." Rose Smiled.
