Bananas

Rose walked into the small grocery store, the Doctor dragged behind looking at all of the goodies standing in racks next to the entrance.

"C'mon Doctor, we need to hurry up." Rose said.

The Doctor looked at Rose with pitiful eyes, "But we aren't doing anything today."

Rose looked back with a smile, "Exactly."

The Doctor wrapped a arm around Rose's waist, "Okay, so what do we need?"

Rose tore the grocery list in half, "Just find this stuff then meet me at the counter."

The Doctor nodded and skipped down the first aisle he saw. Rose just rolled her eyes and went to buy cereal.

Only twenty minutes later Rose got a phone call from the Doctor.

"What?" She asked raising her eyebrows.

"Rose, I think I'm lost."

"How do you get lost in this place?!"

The Doctor sighed into the phone, "Weeeeelllll, I saw this banana cou-"

Rose shook her head to herself.

"Just come find meeee."

"I'll try too." Rose said with a sigh.

"I love you." Rose could hear his goofy smile.

"Love you too."

The line went silent and Rose continued her way, pausing to look at each aisle. She ended up finishing her part of the list before even seeing a hint of the Doctor. Her phone began going off again.

"Rooooooosssssse." He whined

"Are you even in the store?"

The Doctor looked around, "I'm surrounded by fruits. Look! Bananas!"

"So you're next to bananas?" Rose questioned with a laugh.

"Yup!"

The Doctor went off to sing a children's song about bananas. The realized Rose was still on the phone, "Just come find me so I can get you home."

Rose put her phone up once again and walked to the other side if the store. He sat on the ground like a pitiful puppy.

"You made me get lost."

"You're the one who has a bad sense of direction."

"Well now I'm all humany-wuma-" Rose quieted his explanation with a kiss. He smiled and pulled away drone her.

"Are you sure groceries can't wait another day?"
