"What are you thinking about?" I mumbled sleepily as my head lied on Johnny's thigh.
"Just thinkingabout the future. I'm scared." His fingers played with his bottom lip nonchalantly.
"Just breathe. I'm here by your side. Partners in crime. . .and the other stuff." I chuckled lightly and began to sit up.
"No, babe, you should continue to sleep." He tried to lay me back down.
"But Ican't sleep if you're distressed." I replied softly. "I don't know what I would do with you not completely happy. All this stress isn't good for you." I sat up and sighed. I leaned in and slid my hand behind his neck to tangle my fingers in his hair. My eyes fluttered close after his did and I lied a soft kiss on his lips with happiness.
"Thank you, I needed that. Please go to sleep now." He sighed and kissed my forehead.
"Only if you fall asleep too." I kissed his jaw. "Please. . .?" He let out another sighed and began to lay down. He pulled me into his arms and shut his eyes.
