I end up falling asleep and I nap for one hour.

I wake up, and immediately check my phone. Jack hasn't text me. That's weird, he said that he would. As if on cue, I get a text message from him.

'Hey'

That's it? just hey?

'I want to meet with you to talk. There is a park 3 blocks from my house. Can you meet me there in 15 minutes?'

I send it and my phone rings 2 minutes later.

'Yeah. I can meet you.'

Good. I wasn't taking no for a answer. I text, 'there is a big tree that has pink flowers on it. I will meet you under it.'

'Ok. I'm leaving now'

I grab my wallet and a jacket and head out. I don't see my mom, she is probably sleeping again.

I start walking on the sidewalk and I think what I'm going to say. I have so many questions, I don't even know where to start.

I listen to the soft padding of my vans on the pavement. I honestly have no idea what to say. How do I start a conversation like that? "Oh hey, what the fuck is wrong with your eyes you weirdo?" yeah no.

I round the last block and I see the park in full view. It is not really a park, it is a huge, flat field of grass with a few bushes and trees in the way. The park sign read, 'Lionel James Memorial Park' Lionel James was the guy that founded the city. Not like anybody cared though.

I see my favorite tree ahead. It's gray thin branches reach high into the sky while big pink flowers dangle from it. I also see Jack, sitting underneath it with his back against the thick trunk.

I immediately smile at him. He looks up and sees me, mirroring my smile. I'm breathless for a moment. He stands up and hugs me.

His scent is amazing. It is warm and cozy, with just a hint of cologne. I reach up and wrap my arms around his neck and bury my face in his chest, inhaling him. he reaches down to hug me by my waist and I feel his chin touch my hair.

"Hi," I manage to get out.

He chuckles lightly and it's a lovely sound, "hi"

We break away and I sit down with my back against the tree and he does it too.

Not wasting any time, he turns his slender body to me, "What do you need to talk about?"
