Chapter 4

     JUSTIN

  It was night time right now, and I was carrying Wynter outside of the vampire services building. They should really put an alarm on the windows, because that was really easy. She was dangerously thin, and it pained me to see her like this. I carried her through the grass, and I could see she was amazed at the sight in front of her. She was staring at it like it was the most beautiful thing she's ever seen. 

  "You want a piece of it?" I asked giving her one of my best smiles. She nodded. I bent down with her still in my arms and handed her the tallest piece of grass I could find. I handed it to her and she started to play with the tiny piece of grass. It was amazing how something so useless could fascinate her. I loved watching her, with amazement in her eyes. She fascinated me.

  "W-where are you taking me?" Was she still afraid of me? She looked up at me, wonder and fear in her bright blue eyes.

  "Somewhere safe, don't worry sweetie, okay?" I said to her. I felt her body relax in my arms and it relaxed me, knowing I gained her trust. I was gonna take her to my apartment and keep her there, until I found a safe human place she could go too. 

  I made my way to my apartment, and noticed there was a couple of people staring. But I continued to make my way to my apartment. I entered the lobby and ignored the many stares and glares I got. I entered the elevator and pressed button 5.

  "I-I can walk" she said softly.

  "I know but you don't really have a lot of coverage, I'm the one that's covering your body." I tried not to sound too harsh.

  "Okay..." She said. I looked at her and she was about to doze off, so I let her. She snuggled into my bare chest, although I don't know why. I'm freezing cold. When we got to my floor, she was already asleep. I walked into my room and laid her onto my bed, she was very warm and peaceful. I loved her touch, she was very warm, I loved it.

  I covered her up into my bed, and watched her relax. I could tell she was still tense.

  I quickly walked over to my closet and grabbed something I could wear. I pulled over a black v-neck and waited for Wynter to wake up. I watched as she moved around in her sleep and tried to find a comfy position to sleep in. She was a very beautiful girl, I looked at her and remembered her bright blue eyes. I haven't seen bright blue eyes like those in a long time.  

I decided to go next door and ask Alice if I can borrow some of her clothes. I grabbed my keys and locked my door so no one could get to Wynter. I knocked on her door and it quickly opened.

  "Hey Justin, what's up?" She asked.

  "Um, could I borrow some of your clothes?" I asked her.

  "Uh, okay." She let me in and I saw Trent.

  "Trent, what are you doing here?" I asked him surprised.

  "Uh, nothing man..." He blushed. Yup, Trent and Alice are fucking.

  "Okay... I need to borrow some under clothes too..." I smiled embarrassingly.

  "PERV!" She slapped my shoulder playfully.

  "It's not for me, I have a guest." I could tell she didn't believe me.

  "Look, I'm about to show you something so secretive, you can't tell anyone okay guys?" I said to them both. They both nodded and followed me. We walked out in the hallway and I unlocked my door.

  "I smell, a human." Alice said sniffing.

  "Wow, they smell good." Trent said. I suddenly noticed the smell, all this time I never noticed that Wynter smelt so good. The door finally opened revealing my apartment.
