I was standing in front of my closet, looking for something cute to wear when Brianna came in.
"Hey," she said.
"Hey," I replied.
"What're you doing?" she asked.
"You can't give me any shit, okay?" I begged. She nodded.
"Okay."
"I really really like Jonathan," I admitted. "He has another game tonight and he wants me to go to a Blackhawks charity event afterward and I want to look good for it. Can you help me?"
"Yeah, sure," she said. She stood next to me and scanned my clothes. She pulled out my pair of dark blue skinny jeans. She disappeared and came back with a loose, pale pink sweater.
"Thank you so much," I said. She smiled.
"It's no problem," she said. "Now go get him!"
I laughed as she left so I could change.

After I got to my seat at the game, I pulled the sweatshirt Jonathan gave me. It was a little big on me, but it was extremely comfortable and it smelled like him.
Macy, Kelly, and Cara came and sat next to me.
"Can I talk to you?" Macy asked me. I turned towards her and nodded. She flicked her eyes towards the top where the bar was. I got the point and stood up, following her to the bar. She ordered us both a fruit drink of some sort.
"You wanted to talk to me?" I asked. She nodded.
"I just wanted to apologize for acting like such a bitch to you," she said. "I was just angry because I thought you were stealing Jonathan from me. But, I don't think he was ever mine to be taken anyway. You're good for him and I'm really glad he found someone like you."
"It's okay. And thanks, I really appreciate it," I replied.
"But my friends still think I'm pissed and they still don't like you," she said with a small grimace.
"It's okay, I'm good at playing pretend," I teased. Macy laughed.
"Okay, now put on your irritated face, we're going down. I nodded and followed her back to our seats just as they began to announce the starting lineup.

After the game, I made my way down to the tunnels with Macy and her friends. I pulled my hoodie off and hug it over my arm while we waited.
Same as last time, Jonathan and Patrick were the last two guys out.
"So what is this thing we're going to?"I asked Jonathan as we walked.
"It's out in the lobby. People had to pay anywhere from 100-600 dollars to get in and there weren't more than fifty tickets sold. All the money is going to charity and the people who bought tickets get to meet us and get autographs and stuff," he explained.
"Why do you want me here?" I asked. He shrugged.
"I just like having you around, and you can meet some fans," he told me. I felt my cheeks get hot. He liked being with me.
We pushed the doors open and I saw around fifty people and twenty players, including coach, milling around the lobby. A man and his little son came up to us.
"You looked amazing out there," the man said. The Blackhawks had won, 4 to 1, and Jonathan had scored a goal.
"Thanks!" He squatted so he could talk to the man's son. "What's your name, buddy?"
"Max," the little boy replied. I grinned down at them.
"You must be the lucky woman with Jonathan," the man said. I gave a small laugh. He stuck his out for me to shake. "My name's Ross."
"Christine," I told him. Jonathan stood back up, holding Max in his arms. "I can take the picture if you want to get in it."
Ross handed me his camera and got into the picture next to his son. As they talked about last season, I took in my surroundings. Patrick and Cara were walking around mingling with people together. Macy and Kelly were standing off to the side, taking everything in.
I looked over at Jonathan. God, he was so handsome in his suit. Ross shook Jonathan's hand before he walked away. I got closer to him and stood on my tiptoes.
"You look extremely sexy in this suit," I whispered. He turned his head to look at me, a smirk on his lips. I swear, he was going up kiss me, but he just kissed the side of my jaw, which was more than good enough.
A woman and some other girls came over to Jonathan. He signed autographs for them and he even had a small conversation with them.
"You're so good with these people," I commented.
"We wouldn't be here without them," he told me.
"Makes sense. But I feel like some guys are total jerks to their fans," I said. Jonathan put his arm around my waist as we leaned against a wall, waiting for more people.
"Yeah, some are," he replied. "But I'm the captain and I try to be a good example. I truly love our fans."
"You're good with kids, too," I pointed out. "Is there anything you can't do?"
He winked at me as another group of girls came up. I took their picture and waited while Jonathan signed stuff and chatted with them. I was actually having a lot of fun.
After about an hour and a half, we went out to his car.
"That was a lot of fun," I said. He pulled out of the parking lot before he replied.
"I'm glad you liked it. It's important that my girlfriend likes it.I'm
"Who said I was your girlfriend?" I teased.
"I just did," he replied. I fake sighed.
"Fine, I guess I'll be your girlfriend,"I said. It was extremely difficult to stop the urge to victory dance. He reached across the car and held my hand, letting our joined hands rest on my knee.
