By the time I got home, I still couldn't stop smiling.

"What's with the goofy grin?" Patrick asked when I got home.

"I kissed her," I told him.

"Any tongue action?" he asked. I rolled my eyes.

"No! It was our first kiss, Pat," I said. He shrugged and downed the rest of his beer.

"So?"

"You're such a perv," I told him. He laughed. "I'm serious. Why do girls even like you?"

"Cause I'm the shit, that's why," he answered. I rolled my eyes again.

"Cara must be so pleased to call you hers," I joked. He put his hand over his heart, pretending to be hurt.

"Cara is amazing, c'mon man," he groaned.

"Amazing is all I get?" she teased as she walked into the living room. They had suddenly started dating out of nowhere. Cara had said she was working on it, and I'm guessing she worked pretty fast. "Hey, douche bag."
She was addressing me.

"Macy has already forgiven me and as far as I know, she and Christine are friends," I told her. She folded her arms across her chest.

"So? You still betrayed her," she pointed out.

"Whatever," I said as I grabbed a beer. I didn't have time for arguments with moronic people. "I'm happy with her. I don't give a fuck what you or Kelly has to say."

Patrick snickered and Cara smacked him.

"This is fucking bullshit," she spat. "You are unbelievable, Jonathan. Ulu led her on."

"I did not! Since the day you all fucking arrived I've been disinterested. You guys just chose to see what you want to see, hear what you want to hear! Macy has moved on, we're friends, why can't you get the fuck over it?" I said, my voice raised. I walked off, taking my beer with me.

I loved Patrick and I normally got along with his sister and her friends, but this time I could not wait for them to get the hell out. I wanted to have Christine over. I wanted to watch movies with her at my place, have dinner at my place, just hang out at my place. But as long and Kelly and Cara were here, I would avoid bringing Christine anywhere near this place.

I didn't want them to be bitches to her. She didn't deserve it. Patrick hid his smirk at my rant by taking another drink of beer. Cara turned to him.

"And you! You're always fucking drinking unless you're sleeping or you have a game or practice! I would appreciate it if I could have a fucking sober boyfriend!" she ranted before storming off to bed.

"Jesus," Patrick muttered, joining me in the living room. The whole wall was a window overlooking Chicago. "I'm honestly not that drunk."

"I know man," I said.

"Hey, I like Christine. I'm happy for you, Tazer."

"Thanks, Pat, Ill be happy for you once Cara chills the fuck out."

"A-fucking-men," Patrick agreed as we clinked our bottles together.

So sorry this chapter is so short. I spent a long time writing a good on and I accidentally deleted it and I was too frustrated to re-write it.

Next chapter will be a lot longer and a lot better, I promise!
