-Liam's POV-

As I waltzed into the house I was greeted by a group of my friends hanging out in the living room. Alex and Lacy were snuggled up on the couch and the guys were scattered about the floor with game controllers in their hands. "Ay, how was your date?" Lacy yelled, wagging her eyebrows at me. If she wasn't like my family I would have probably gotten in her face but she was different so I just shrugged off her comment as I sat down on the couch. Howling laughter filled the room when the guys registered what she had said. "Lace, what the hell are you talking about?" Trenton asked, his eyes going back and forth between Lacy and I. "Ohh you didn't tell them!?" Lacy's voice was full of triumph and excitement. She lived for this type of shit. "Lacy shut up." I growled and started looking through my phone. The room was quiet and I could feel all eyes on me. "What?!" I spat as I stood up. "Yeah...so what? I went on a date. Fuck." I shot Lacy a pissed off glare before heading upstairs to my room; leaving them all with shocked looks on their faces. Lacy was like a little sister to me and she made sure to treat me like she would a real brother; AKA she was annoying as shit sometimes.

I wasn't surprised by their reactions but this was all such a weird thing for me. This isn't something I have ever even been interested in. In fact I made sure I was an ass to most of the girls who acted interested so they wouldn't be. That didn't work with a lot of them though, usually they would text me after a couple of says expecting something from me. I never felt bad about it though; these girls knew exactly who I was and what I was like before they approached me. Now I am in uncharted territory. Sam has seen a completely different version of me and now I am worried about what will happen when she sees my more "public" side.

My phone started ringing and I was glad to have those thoughts pushed from my mind. My good mood instantly changed when I saw who was calling. "

What do you want?

Hey, we are having some issues down here...you need to get down here asap.

What kind of issues?

Payment issues, we have a runner.

Fuck. This is the last thing I wanted to deal with tonight. I couldn't help but feel a little relieved to have a distraction though. All I wanted to do was to sit around and think about her and that was not something I thought was a good idea. "Guys, we need to roll out; issues in Stockton." That was all I needed to say and the guys were on their feet and getting ready to head out. Alex gave Lacy a quick kiss and we were all out the door to our cars.
