{Sam’s POV}

“I don’t know about this Lacy…I’m still not 100% sure how you talked me into getting this dress…” I mumbled from behind my closed bedroom door. My eyes scanned slowly over my reflection in the mirror. The skin tight black dress fit my body like a second skin; clinging to every curve of my body. “Trust me, looking hot is one thing I’m really good at.” She laughed, knocking on the door. “Are you going to let me see?” I looked myself over again in the mirror. Lacy had curled my hair so that is now laid perfectly down my body in soft curls. She had kept my makeup minimum, a slight Smokey eye and nude lips. Taking a deep breath, I slipped on the black stilettos and made my way to the door and close my eyes as I tug it open. “Holy shit….” Lacy says in almost a whisper. I peek open one of my eyes to look at her, an unsure feeling washing over me. “See? I think I need to go change…” As I turn back towards my room Lacy grabs my arm, pulling me back into the hallway. “Sam, there is no way I could let you change. You look so fuckin hot, I’m not even into girls and I’d probably do you.” Nervously I bit down on my bottom lip, glancing at myself again in the mirror.

Lacy was dressed in a skin tight red dress and heels; she looked like she was straight out of a magazine. I watched as she touched up her lip gloss in the mirror; jealous of her confidence. Tonight, I was going to enjoy some liquid confidence and do my best to keep him off my mind. “Let’s roll bitch! Our ride is here!” Lacy snapped me from my thoughts and I put on a smile and followed her out to the car.

The club was hot and the music seemed to vibrate from the floor and into my body. With our fingers tightly laced together we made our way to the bar to begin our night. We downed a couple of shots courtesy of some guys at the bar before we made our way to the dance floor. The flashing lights and vibrations from the music was enough to send me into a blissful state; our bodies moving to the beat the pulsed through the room. I let loose, my hips swaying as I moved my hands through my hair. Finally, I was letting go of all my insecurities and I was loving every second of it. Then almost like there was some kind of magnetic force, my eyes drifted across the sea of bodies and my eyes met his intense stare. He was here, why was he here? It could have been the many shots of tequila or it could have been the pure anger that I had deep in my belly but I stopped dancing, my eyes still locked on him. “Lacy did you tell him to come here?!” I yelled through the loud music and she looked at me with a confused look on her face, but it didn’t last long as her eyes followed my gaze. “I’ll take care of this…just go order us another drink.” She gave me a quick hug as she angerly rushed across the floor. Prying my eyes away from him I made my way back to the bar to drink my feelings away.

Thanks to that same guy at the bar I had now downed so many shots I wasn’t sure how many I had actually drank. The alcohol caused my cheeks to flush to the point I felt like I was boiling. “Hey you okay? You need some fresh air?” The guys voice asked as I stumbled towards the door at the side of the club. I laughed, shoving him as I stepped out the door into the crisp cool air. Ahh…I felt like I could finally breathe again. Carefully, I took a few steps down the alley enjoying the cooling effect the night air had on my hot damp skin when I felt a hand wrap tightly around my wrist, pulling me back into their arms. “Where you off to, pretty little thing.” His voice seemed irritated and his breath had the thick smell of whiskey. “Nowhere near you!” I spat as I jerked my wrist out of his grip. I felt very impowered as I moved away from him.  As I was walking I heard the rushed sound of his shoes on the pavement before I felt the firm shove on my back causing me to topple over onto the ground. I gasped out loudly as the gravel bit into my knees. Quickly, I rolled over onto my back just as he stood over me. My eyes met his and sudden fear washed over me. His eyes were dark and the look on his faced was nothing but pure anger. There was something about his blonde hair and tanned skin that looked so familiar but I couldn’t put my finger on it. “What? I’m not good enough for you?” He hissed as he kneeled down in front of me. Trying my best to get away I rolled over and began crawling in the opposite direction; still very disoriented from the alcohol. With one sudden move his hand was tangled in my hair and he jerked to me to my feet. I could feel his hot sticky breath on my ear as his whispered. “You’ll let Maddox have a go but not willing to share?” Before I could speak he turned me around, shoving my chest hard against the brick wall.  He chuckled as one of his hands began pulling the hem of my dress up, his other hand roughly pushing my face against the brick wall. I could feel the brick tear at my face, the warm sticky liquid covering my cheeks. “S-stop!” I yelled as I tried my best to free myself from his hold. “Come on…. Uncle Travis just wants a taste.” He mumbled against my ear, his hand trying its best to remove the underwear from under my tight dress. This couldn’t be happening; I could feel the hot tears spill over my eyes as I tried to yell for help and I thrashed my body around trying to break his hold. He slammed me hard against the wall again and again until the blows caused my vision to fade in and out. “This can’t happen to me.” I whispered, the metallic taste of blood on my lips.

{Liam’s POV}

After Alex informed me that Lacy and Sam were planning a night out we decided it would be best if we kept an eye on them. Even though I knew Sam wanted nothing to do with me now I felt like it was my job to make sure she was always safe. Lacy was known for getting wild and Sam might not have been in a good place to start drinking so heavily. As we walked into the club my eyes automatically started to scan the club for any sign of the two girls. My jaw dropped when I finally spotted them dancing together in the middle of the club. Sam was sporting one of the tightest dresses I had ever seen which was giving everyone in the club a perfect view of her body. The way she was moving was downright sinful and I could feel the jealousy growing deep in my core. I had never experienced this feeling before in my life and I can’t say that I liked it. My jaw was clenched tightly as we stood along the side and watched them both carefully.

Every once and awhile we would get interrupted by some messy drunk girls and any other time in my life this would have been a wonderful disruption but the only girl I had eyes for was now dancing in the most scandalous outfit I had ever seen her in and all I could think of was taking her home with me.

Then like we were drawn to each other her eyes met mine from the other side of the room, but instead of her gorgeous smile she looked pissed. I missed the way she would giggle and how nice it felt when she was curled up against my body the first thing in the morning. Suddenly I was brought out of my thoughts of having her soft body against mine by a rough smack to the back of my head. “What the fu…” I started until I noticed a very angry Lacy glaring at us. Alex quickly jumped in trying to rationalize with her, “Lace, this was my idea…we are just here to keep an eye on you, that’s it!” And those words earned him a swift smack to the back of the head. “Listen here you fuck wits!” She started and I knew we were in for it. My eyes trailed back over the sea of people trying to track Sam down again. There was another unfamiliar feeling wash over me; panic. That’s when I finally spotted her, staggering towards the exit door closely followed by another body.

Without a word I quickly headed in that direction, my mind now spinning with the thoughts of someone else with her. What if they didn’t care about her like I did? Thankfully my large build and pissed off expression made it simple for me to make it through the throngs of people. As I pushed the door open I was met with one of the worst sights I could have imagined.  Sam’s tiny body was pinned to the brick wall by none other than Travis Parsons; his hands slamming her face against the brick. Anger coursed through me and without even thinking I ran full speed towards them. I lost all control; I ripped him away from her, my fits gripping him by the shirt as I copied his actions by slamming him hard against the wall. My eyes glanced over and I felt like my heart had just been torn from my chest when I saw Sam lying motionless on the ground; her face and legs coated the blood. Throwing Travis to the ground I ran quickly to her side, pulling her into my arms.

“Sam…Sam…wake up….” I rocked her in my arms as I tried to get her to wake up. My hand gently brushed over the blood on her cheeks, checking the damage. Thankfully I was joined a few minutes later by the rest of the group because I was in shock. Lacy quickly called 911 and Alex and Trenton chased Travis down the alley to finish taking care of the situation on that end.
