Killua scanned the area, since the only thing he could move was his head. Eventually his sharp eyes spotted a sniper in the upper floors of a building, pointing his gun directly at him. His legs still wouldn't move no matter how hard he tried, so he assumed he would die right there, as the worst solider ever. Although he heard a voice in the distance that was getting closer by the second.

"KILLUA!" Gon shouted as he launched himself at Killua, causing them to roll inside of a broken down building.

It seemed Gon had arrived just in time too, for a gunshot went off shortly after they rolled in the building.

Gon was on top of Killua, panting from the running he just endured. Killua stared up at him, suppressing his relief for Gon's safety. "How did you find me?" Killua asked rather casually. Gon pointed to his nose. "I have a really strong sense of smell remember? I just tracked you down because I was worried about you, and I was right to be; you're hurt." Gon got off Killua and starting undoing the front buttons of Killua's uniform.

Killua swatted the other boys hands away, his face becoming red. "..What are you doing?!" Gon reached his hands back down and continued to unbutton Killua's uniform. "You have a wound in your shoulder, I need to see it so I can clean it up dummy." The white haired male turned away, his expression becoming cold again. "It doesn't even hurt, I've handled worse. Right now I have to go." Gon had already finished bandaging Killua's wound and Killua got up, the feeling in his legs returning.

As he was about to walk out, Gon grabbed his hand. "I want to talk to you first." He stated with a stern tone as Killua looked at him with a sharp gaze. "We don't have time for that, there's a war going on." Killua tried tugging his arm away but Gon gripped it tighter. "I know, but our side is winning, you can spare a few minutes." The black haired boy released his grip, letting Killua's hand fall to his side. "...Fine talk fast." Killua scoffed, crossing his arms.

"I don't understand what I did wrong, why are you ignoring me Killua?! Gon said desperately.
"You didn't do anything wrong, we just can't be friends anymore."
"Why not!? I deserve to know."

Killua hesitated, but decided to just come clean. ".....If you die, I'll be hurt; my family doesn't put up with sadness. I've never had a friend before and I don't want to lose my first one so I figured if I stopped being friends with you and you were to die, it'd hurt me less."

Clenching his fists, Gon spun Killua around to face him, then slapped him in the face.

Killua brought a hand to his face, feeling the now burning spot on his cheek.

"Are you only thinking of yourself?! You might not want to get hurt if I die but....but I'm hurt because you keep ignoring me! Do you not care about my feelings?!" Gon cried as he clutched onto the front of Killua's uniform, sobbing into it. "I care about you Killua! Don't ignore me just because you think I'm going to die, because even if I do, I want you to remember me as your best friend and keeping fighting for me and the country!"

The tears heavily flowed from Gon's eyes, wetting Killua's uniform. Killua had tears streaming from his eyes as well because of Gon's meaningful words. He leaned down and pulled Gon into a tight hug, rubbing his back. "Yes.....you're right, I'm sorry Gon. We are friends.....best friends."
