Sitting up, Killua felt extremely well rested. He thought about sleeping more often as it would probably make his mood less sour throughout the day.
Turning to the side, the pale male found a note sitting on his bedside table. Upon reading it, he became extremely flustered by the note from his dear friend.
"I'm not cute......dummy...." Killua mumbled to himself while setting the note in his pocket for safe keepings.
After putting on his uniform and straightening himself out, Killua started his trek to the training grounds. Although he stopped halfway, seeing what was going on.
Gon looked extremely serious with his training. Except he wasn't using a gun, he was fighting with his fists while also using some sort of martial arts?
His speed was incredible as well, barely even visible to the human eye, and this wasn't even his full strength. He was holding back so he wouldn't injure the other soldiers training with him.
Kurapika looked extremely impressed and pleased by the progress Gon was making.
Killua himself was impressed as well, watching with his mouth hanging open slightly from the amazement.
Now that he was examining Gon more thoroughly, he started noticing more detailed things about Gon that he hadn't noticed before.
Gon was actually very toned and built. Comparing their body types, Gon definitely had a buffer body; even though Killua had a good amount of muscle as well.
His face was also chiseled, but still held the childish features. Along with that, his tan skin seemed to glow and his wide, golden brown eyes always radiated life.
His child like attitude was fitting for him, but he could be serious and mature when needed and Killua knew that.
Sighing, Killua stared at the breathtaking boy, knowing he'd only distract him from his training if he were to show up now. So he decided to skip for that day and walk to a secluded part of the desert to have some time to himself.
Gon on the other hand had finally finished his practice. He was out of breath and slightly tired but felt better than ever and was improving very fast.
At the moment though, Gon was wondering where his messy haired friend was since he never showed up to training.
Thinking he slept all day, Gon went back to Killua's room to check there but to his dismay, he was missing.
Feeling slightly defeated, Gon walked with his head hanging low, bumping into someone as he walked down the hall.
"...Oh I'm sorry! I wasn't looking!" Gon said apologetically as he waved his hands around in defense. As he looked up, he realized it was only Leorio and let out a sigh of relief.
"It's alright Gon! But to be honest you look kinda depressed, what's up?" Leorio asked nonchalantly.
Gon leaned against the wall and crossed his arms. "I haven't seen Killua all day except this morning when I woke up next to-...I mean when I woke up and checked up on him.." a red hue appeared on Gon's face when he realized he almost told Leorio about his and Killua's last night slumber party, but Leorio didn't seem to notice the small slip up.
"Oh wait a second." A sudden remembrance showed on Leorio's face as he lead Gon to his office and pointed out the window.
"I saw him earlier today; he walked off in that direction."
"Thanks Leorio! I'll see ya later!" Gon yelled, as he was already running out the door.
