After about 10 minutes, Gon started to stir.

He felt weight on his body, and noticed there was a corpse on him. After pushing it off and sitting up, he rubbed the back of his head; there was a bump that had started to form.

That's when he noticed that he was still outside, in Yorknew City.

Gon scrambled to his feet, whipping his head in every direction, but Killua was no where to be seen.

After frantic searching, a note on the ground caught his eye.

Upon examining it, he realized it was the letter he wrote for Killua the morning they had slept in the same bed; he must've kept it for some reason and it fell out of his pocket.

Gon remembered Killua's words before everything went black; Killua....loved him.

He sunk to his knees, clutching the note.

As tears fell down his face, Gon screamed to the sky. "KILLUAAAAAAAAA"

Over and over again, Gon screamed the name of his squad mate, his bestfriend, his lover.

Fists slammed into the ground continuously, causing blood to leak from Gon's hands.

The tan male had never felt so broken. It was as if the world had crumbled around him, and Killua was the only one who could rebuild it.

But his cerulean eyed lover was either dead or captured and Gon was torn about which one it was.

Kurapika, concerned about his young squad mates, reentered the city in search of them. All he found though, was Gon.

Putting the pieces together, Kurapika figured that something happened to Killua, which caused Gon to be in such a dangerous state of mind.

"Gon!" The blonde captain yelled, hoping to get his young squad mates attention.

After a few seconds, Gon turned his head. His eyes were red and puffy, his cheeks were tear stained, and his fists were bloody.

Kurapika gave him a concerned expression, seeing the fire and rage deep in Gon's eyes, but the tan medic still got up slowly, stuffing the now crinkled note in his pocket.

He walked heavily, clenching his fists together.

Kurapika let Gon go in front of him so he could trail behind; he wanted to make sure Gon wouldn't run off or anything like that.

Once at the trucks, everyone in their squad noticed Gon's sudden dark atmosphere. They all remained silent and didn't speak a word to him.

Gon was in his own world, even if someone tried to speak to him, it probably wouldn't register to his head.

Soon they were back at the base, and Gon got off the truck first.

He avoided everyone, heading straight for Killua's room so he could dwell in his own despair.
