This time wearing a black t-shirt and jeans, he still looked as cute as he did in sports wear. Oh my god, don’t hyperventilate Jane, he is just a normal customer.
“Hi’ his raspy voice sent chills through my body making my legs shake.
“Ummm hi, sorry what can I help you with?” I asked, hoping he couldn’t sense the nervousness in my voice.
“Nothing actually, I found what I was looking for” he stated with a smile slowly spreading on to his face, his dimples becoming prominent.
“Ohh ummm ok then” I said as I started to walk behind my desk breaking the look we held.
“Sorry, but what was it that you found?” I asked quite bluntly, this was a bit odd that he had found what he needed and I hadn’t even done anything.
“I found you.” He stated matter of factly, with the smile on his face not fading at all, but a slight blush appeared at his cheeks.
“II’m ssorry, yyou ffound mme?” I stuttered out while I slowly reached towards the computer to open a new email hoping I can send someone an SOS to let them know I had a nut bar in the front office. Shit, this was one of the times when we needed an alarm to let everyone know that I needed help ASAP!
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to freak you out” he said as his took a step towards the desk, his smile dropped from his face, his facial features now looked guiltily.
“I don’t know how to say this with out sounding creepy, more creepy then I sound now I guess” a slight chuckle escaped his mouth.
“I umm I haven’t been able to get you out of my head since we ran in to each other and I was hoping to run into you again but I guess we kept missing each other, I recognized the logo from you cap to the outside of this building and I figured what did I have to lose, then here you are, so yeah” all the words flowed out of his mouth so quickly, I was lucky to understand them.
My mouth dropped open as I looked at his brown eyes again, both our cheeks now burned bright red. This had to be a dream, no way was this guy here for me. If this wasn’t a dream then it had to be a set up.
“Is this a joke? Who made you do this?” I asked, my hands still hovering over the keyboard connected to the computer. Tears suddenly threated to spill out of my eyes, my blood pumping in my ears. How sick could someone be, to send this guy in pretending to be here looking for me?
“No one, no one I swear” his eyes filled with sadness and hurt.
“I really am here for you. Sorry let me start again. Hi my name is Jessie, we ran into each other a few days ago at the park.” Jessie stuck out his hand for me to shake, his smile slowly returned to his face.
I looked down at his hand in pure shock. This guy was here for me, he had looked for me after we ran into each other. He hadn’t stopped thinking about me, like I hadn’t stopped thinking about him.
“Umm ok well, it is pretty amazing that you found me just from the logo on my cap and it’s a new year and I guess you have to take chances at things right?” I asked, Jessie nodded his head the smile on his face growing.
“Hi, I’m Jane” I stuck out my hand, shaking Jessie hand firmly. His skin feeling warm and soft against mine, his hand fitting perfectly in mine.
