After talking to Danni, I walked back to my desk when suddenly

My phone went off in my pocket and I pulled it out to see 1 new message from unknown number.
Hi It’s Jessie :) Now you have my number. Talk to you soon. Jessie
The smile on my face grew again as I hit reply.
Hi :) Yep now I do. Just wondering where were you taking me on Friday night? Talk soon. Jane
I read the message several times before hitting send. I had made the mistake of replying too quickly in the past, and I wasn’t going to mess it up this time
Butterfly’s started to grow in my stomach as I waited for a reply. God I hated this, the waiting for a reply, the feeling of anxiousness, whether or not he would even reply back

Holy shit, that was quick.

Umm I was thinking we could go to the River Bistro, for dinner at like 6.30 then go over to the beer garden for some drinks? I figure its enough time to get ready after work and it’s not a huge travel distance. What you think? Jessie

I put my phone down after reading Jessie’s message and turned my attention back to my computer. 10 minutes later and I was still staring at my computer trying to comprehend what just happened. 1 minute I am sitting eating my lunch like any other day then the next, the cute guy I couldn’t stop thinking about comes into my work, freaks me out, then asks me out. This year is going to be a good but an interesting one if it continues like this.
