Danni and I spent the next 2 hours watching episode after episode of Friends, eating 3 different types of chips and sipping coke. Her mum dropped off her work clothes half way through the 4th episode, giving us time to come out from our hibernation and grab more supplies, this time being a bag of candy snakes, a bag of sour worms and a bag of caramel popcorn.
“Oh my od I ove armel opcorn” Danni said while she stuffed more popcorn into her mouth.
“Haha what was that fatty, you love caramel popcorn?” I laughed while I pulled out my phone and took snap after snap of my Best Friend shoving more and more food into her gob.
“I aid I oveee aramelll oppcooorn” Danni tried again, in the process spitting out bits of chewed up popcorn.
“You are a disgusting child” I said as I tried my best to hold in my laughter.
I tapped away at my phone posting the best picture of Danni on Facebook.
‘This girl always knows how to make me laugh… don’t know what I would do with out you Danni Mae, Love ya xx’.
I hit the post button and a few seconds later Danni’s phone beeped. She slid her finger across the screen clicking on the notification.
“You posted a photo of me … OH MY GOD! JANE YOU ARE SO DEAD!” Danni shouted as she grabbed a pillow and started to hit me.
“Hey it’s a good picture, plus you know you love me” I said back putting on my best puppy dog eyes.
“Yeh yeh I guess I do, just remember pay back is a bitch” Danni replied, a smile creeping on to her face, her fingers tapping on her phone.
“Yeh yeh bring it on” I replied.
‘Pay backs a bitch girl. But I love ya too xx’
After several hours of Friends episodes Danni and I fell asleep. My head started to empty of all the days’ events. I dreamed of deep brown eyes, I could feel my whole body relaxing. Suddenly a sound in the distance made me jump.
CLICK, CLICK, CLICK, CLICK
“What the hell” I rolled over to see an evil grin appearing on Danni’s face as her phone sat in her hand.
“What did you do Dan?” I asked rubbing my eyes. “and what time is it?”
“One, I did only what I had to do and two, it is 7am” Danni said while she continued to tap away at her phone.
“Mmmmm well why did you have to wake me up and with out a cup of tea in your hand” I replied, pushing myself up, I grabbed my phone only to see I had a notification.
“I’m the guest, not the butler J’ Danni said while poking me in the arm, her evil smile still not fading.
“Yeh yeh, I guess I will make some myself, you want one?” I asked while putting my slippers on my feet, preparing myself to get up.
“Mmmm yes please and 2 pieces of toast with honey”
“Anything else. Do you want me to kiss your feet too” I said back, this was always the banter we had between each other in the morning.
“a-ha-ha-ha so funny” Danni sarcastic tone flowed through the air.
“I know I am” I shot back a smile. I looked back down at my phone to see ‘Danni Mae has tagged you in a photo’
“Dan you didn’t” I said as I looked at a picture of me sleeping, my hair all over my face and the caption reading ‘My best friend looks so beautiful in the morning, love ya. I told you paybacks a bitch x’
“Oh but I did J” Danni said, an evil laugh started to fill the room.
“You are so dead. Oh my god Jessie liked the picture” I said as I scrolled through the names of people who had liked the photo, it was already at 35 people, after only being on for 10 minutes.
“If he can like that face in the morning, then he is a keeper” Danni said pointing at my face.
“Your lucky I love ya” I said to Danni as I pushed myself off my bed and walked towards the kitchen.
After having breakfast, Danni and I got ready for work and we carpooled it to the office.
“You want to have lunch today to talk about what shops you wanna hit tonight?” Danni asked as we headed towards the back door of the office.
“Yeh sounds good. The normal? Dome at 12?” I replied back while she began turning the key in the door.
“Yep ill meet you out the front at 12. See ya then.” Danni replied before she headed inside the office and I walked towards the front of the building.
