I sat in front of the busy grocery store and watched the busy people of LA.

My heart felt heavy after I received the news from Camron. I just couldn't believe that I was losing my job. The job that I had worked so hard to get. I sighed and just let the heaviness of my chest adjust. I guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow to see what will happen to me.

"Hey loser girl!" Zach shouted from across the shopping center and I just rolled my eyes. I don't think him and Choji got the memo. I just wanted to be left alone.

But nope, here they go running towards me. I took a deep breath and tried to calm thy self from exploding on them.

"What do you guys want?" I glared at them and Choji weakly smiled.

"Well we wanted to make you feel better."Choji explained but then Zach pushed him aside.

"Better?!" He shouted. "I think not! We are going to make Amir pay for leaving you in shambles." He said sternly. Zach looked like he was ready for a fight which is funny because Amir was no were to be found.

His overacting made me laugh and I felt a little bit of relieve from their stupid humor. "You guys are too much." I chuckled and Choji nodded.

Zach just shrugged. "Well I'm leaving tomorrow so let me know if you need anything before I go."

A bit of sadness settled into me. I actually liked Zachs company and will actually miss him. Even though he was an headache most of the time.

Zach saw my reaction and stepped away. "Hey! " He pointed in fear. "If you feel sad, so will I."

I nodded. "Fine. Sorry." I laughed and Zach nodded.

"Good." He assured me. "Plus I'll be back soon." He smiled. "It's just my freind in new york needs help setting up a company." He said then brushed his hair. He smiled sheepishly at me. "And I haven't done anything."

I shook my head. "You're so lazy."

"I know."

***********

The next couple of days me and choji spent them in a daze. I was worried about my job and he was worried about about me worrying.

However I still went to work even though I was mostly depressed and heartbroken. I was also a bit paranoid that I would get fired any minute.

Weirdly enough Linda never spoke to me. But nonetheless I was still on the edge of my seat.

"Is everything okay?" A coworker asked all of a sudden and I just smiled.

"Yeah of course!" I boasted and then kept working on the editing of this months issue. Suddenly Linda came over to my seat. She usually never walks into this department and instead calls us up so you can imagine my suprise.

"Hello." I looked up and Linda smiled weakly.

"I have something to speak to you about." She said without responding to my 'Hello'.

I clumsily got up but i still knew what this was about.

I was obviously going to get fired.

We then walked out the writing department and actually walked to her office.

"Linda. Just tell me." I finally said after sitting down on my chair in her office and she just sighed.

"Well, I'm very sorry." She started and I winced at that phrase because I knew what was coming. "But we're going to have to let you go because the head department is not happy with the irresponsibility of your actions and the turn it took."
