SAMEER
As soon as Amir and Samra noticed me, they quickly shut their mouths. It was pure dead silence.
That is, until, Samra grabbed her bag and glared at me as she nicked my shoulder and shit the door really loudly on her way out.
I looked at Amir. "What's her issue?"
Amir sat on the couch, and stared outside the window. Watching the busy streets of LA beneath him silently.
"Amir what is going on?" I walked over and sat across from him.
Amir shook himself out of the faze. "Can't really explain." He stood up and grabbed a box that was on the coffee table. "Can you please just drop this off by Malak's house? I can't do it." He looked away from my face and walked over to me.
I stood up and sighed. "Fine. Only this time but then you better explain what the hell is going on." I grabbed the damn box and dreaded the fact that I'd be sowing up in front of malak. I was scared she was going to choke me.

MALAK
I fell asleep on the balcony. I was so sad and tired to get up and be physical. My mom kept cornering me about what was going on after Choji left and I just kept on with the lame excuses.
My sister kept whining aand even tried to slap me awake. I finally got up but as i looked around, I saw a familair car parking in front. It was Sameer's white shiny Range Rover. I quickly bent down and hid while pulling my sister down and forcing her to do the same thing.
She panicked. "Why?! who's here?"
I turned to her. "It's Sameer." I whisper as my eyes narrow.
Diana frowns. "Oh..."
I looked over the balcony and I noticed he was carrying a box. He was probably just giving me back the stuff I had left at my work.
I gasped. "Diana you go get them. If I go I'll want to stab him."
Diana looks confused. "But what did he do?"
"He's Amir's best friend. That counts for something."
Diana was annoyed but she got up, covered herself and ran out of the door.

DIANAS POV
As soon as I stepped out of the door, I felt his gaze on me.
I turned to see him standing and leaning against his car effortlessly. His dark eyes narrowed slightly as they watched me. They filled with curiosity as his dark messy hair danced in the light warm wind. I could see how perfectly the sun rays hit his light skin and how it intensified his already sharp features.
"You're wasting my time." He pushed himself off the car and walked over to give me the box. His lips slightly curved as he reached me.
"Thanks." I say bluntly. I grab the box out of his hands harshly, not really thinking. He noticed my abrupt move but he remained stiff and unreadable.
"Give Malak my sincere apologies." He spoke, his soft voice sent shivers down my spine despite it being blunt as it can be.
"Sure." I nod. He quickly turns around and makes his way back tot he car, not once looking back.

While Diana was dealing with Sameer, I quickly snuck out of the house and went to the grocery store.
