HIER KOMMT DIE SONNE.

IN THE BEGINNING, when Lucifer was cast from Heaven to Hell, he was condemned to rule the underworld for all eternity — you know the story. What you don't know, is that he felt rather lonely, even though he was surrounded by demons and lost, wretched souls forced to spend their miserable death in suffering — he even had Mazikeen, his right-hand woman and closest thing to a friend. But that didn't remove the feeling of betrayal and loss in his blackened heart, and on one day, the solution came to him. It had become borderline habitual for him to wander around the dark paths in his domain, although many often thought the king of Hell would have better things to do — and sometimes he did — but he found some kind of solace in seeing the reality in the people his home contained.

It was the man stabbing his wife over and over again that inspired Lucifer. Perhaps, he too, needed someone by his side, someone who would last longer than a hooker discovered from the depths of the dismal realm, and with that thought planted deep into his mind, he created her. Genevieve was forged in the fiery pit, from the sins of others, from the hatred and greed and passion lingering in the air, from the darkness Lucifer wanted to share with someone. He just never thought the woman of his dreams would be more nightmarish, instead. If Lucifer were to describe Genevieve somehow, it would be simply, hot as hell yet cold as ice, and those seven words described her better than anything so far. She was malicious, sly, a treacherous creature, and for a while, this satisfied Lucifer.

It wasn't until they had more or less officially married to one another that Lucifer began to see her true colors — how, instead of a deep passionate red, her heart was black as coal or tar, darkened by the thirst she felt, the greed that fueled her and made her hungry for more power, more thriving, for the throne that she had agreed to share with the Devil. The demonic woman acquired the title of the Shedevil for herself, and she was crowned the queen of Hell, as she was, after all, Lucifer's wife now, and he believed that this would satisfy her.

It didn't.

And Genevieve was only getting started. She was an evil queen, driven by wickedness and iniquity, and nothing could stop her — Lucifer tried, for sure, but his attempts were unsuccessful, in the end. For a moment, he managed to push Genevieve down, shutting her and her evil reign down, but she knew she'd get what she wanted eventually. See, even though she was spiteful and occasionally blinded by her desire for power and respect, she was observant, smart, sharp. And she could tell that Lucifer was unhappy in the position of the Devil, and frankly, quite tired of trying to rule Hell, so instead of taking care of his responsibilites, he fled with Mazikeen, escaped to Earth where he found a new home.

Meanwhile, as the Devil settled in Los Angeles and formed his own business, made friends, created a name for himself as Lucifer Morningstar and then ended up becoming a part of the LAPD, his wife took control of the underworld and finally got the throne to herself. Finally, Genevieve had achieved what she had so desired. The only problem was — it didn't feel as good. It didn't feel as blissful and powerful to wear the crown, give out orders and be the sole regal, so instead, Genevieve found another goal for her to reach to.

And this goal, was to get revenge on her husband, wreck his happiness and take away whatever hope he had of a better life, kick him down like he did to her, strip him from his glory and make him see that he had messed with the wrong demon. See, if he really thought that he could turn his back on the Shedevil without any consequences, he was gravely mistaken.

And Genevieve was going to make him see that.
