"Look James, your not the only one who just got out of another relationship..." I said nervously.
"I still think we should wait a while. Be friends for a bit, get got know each other more."
James smile suddenly turned into a frown.
"Oh... Well Okay. That's fine with me"
I smiled
"Thanks James" I leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.
The rest of the game we were both silent. Nothing came out of our mouths.
Later that night James brought me home, he walked me to my doorstep and said: "Remember, I'll wait for you. No matter what."
I thought to myself. What if we wait too long and something changes? What would I do?
For now, all I can hope for is the best...
