I'm at the Salvatore Boarding House, with a Lawyer and Mark, signing papers, while wearing the Moonstone under my Hunter Green formal long sleeve. "Please sign here." Lawyer says, and lift the paper up with his left hand. "And here." He says, putting his hand down, as I sigh, and he offers me the pen with his right hand, and I take it with my right. "Ok." I say, smiling, and sign the first page. "So this place is all yours? They just gave it to you?" Mark asks, as I look at him, and the paper flips. "For now. As sole owner, I'm the only one who can invite a certain type of person in here, if you know what I mean." I say, and the page flips. "Your own personal Safe House." He says, and I nod. "That's the idea." I say. "Wouldn't want to clean it." He says, looking around, and I laugh. I walk to the door with the Lawyer, and open it with my right hand, and see Stefan and Damon walking towards me, and see the Lawyer offer his right hand, and I shake it with my right, as we smile at each other. "Thank you, Mr. Henry." I say, as we release, and he walks out, and I turn around, laughing, and stop, and turn around at them. "Oh, yeah." I say, smiling, as is Stefan. "I totally forgot." I say, walking over to Stefan. "Stefan. Would you like to come inside my house?" I ask, laughing. "I would love to. Thank you." He says, smiling, and walks in, and kisses my right cheek, and I chuckle. "What are we, eleven?" Damon asks, smiling, as I look at him. "One of us is. If I let you in, do you promise to obey the Owner of this house?" I ask. "No." He says, smiling. "Seriously, Damon. My way or the Highway. You promised. I call the shots." I say, and he rolls his eyes. "No lies, no secret agendas. Remember?" I ask. "Yes, Ethan. Sure. And I didn't say anything about a Highway." He says, smiling. "Then please, come in." I say, smiling, and he walks past Stefan, as I look at him. "Shut up." Damon says, and I begin to follow them, and Mark hands me my gray jacket. "Thanks." I say, smiling. "Yep." He says. "Wait, where are you going?" Stefan asks, as I look at him, putting my jacket on, approaching me. "To school." I say. "Huh?" He asks. "No, no, no." Damon says, as we look at him, as he approaches us. "We didn't create a Safe House for you to leave it." He says, as I zip up my jacket. "Yeah, guys, Klaus is out there. We know that." Stefan says, smiling. "Right. But where? No one knows. Look, I really appreciate what you guys are doing." I say, and look at Mark, and back to them. "And I'll be able to sleep at night knowing that I'll be safe here, but I'm not going to be a prisoner liked inside a tower." I say, and Stefan looks at Damon, and so do I. "Tsk. Your way, Ethan." Damon says, fake smiling. "Don't worry, I'm ready. If he shows his face, I can take him. I know how." Mark says, and I look at him. "The way I see it, next to Mark is the safest place that I can be. Come on." I say, and we walk to the door, and I open it with my right hand, and walk out, and does Mark. "Wait. I'm coming." Stefan says. We're in Alaric's classroom, sitting down, and the school bell rings, and I hold up the Sixties Decade Dance flyer to Stefan in my right hand, smiling, and he shakes his head, and I pout, and look at it, and show it to Mark, smiling, and he nods, smiling, and I look back at Stefan, and he rolls his eyes, and looks forward, and so do I. "Hello, class." Alaric says, walking in. "Ahem. What. Are we learning today?" He asks, flipping through his notebook. "With the Decade Dance tonight, we've been covering the Sixties all week." Dana says. "Right. The Sixties." Alaric says, tossing his notebook down, and I run my right hand through my hair, and put it down, and pull out a pencil from my right pocket, and look back at Alaric, and he turns to the chalkboard. "The, uh, ahem.. the Sixties." He says, and writes, The Sixties, on the board with his right hand and chalk, and puts his hand down. "I wish there was something good I could say about the sixties, but.." He says, and sets the chalk down, and looks at us. "Actually, they kind of sucked. Except for the Beatles, of course. They made it bearable." He says, walking around, what else was there? The Cuban Missile thing, the. We walked on the Moon. There was Watergate." I say. "Watergate was the Seventies, Ric." I say, smiling, and everyone looks at me. "I. I mean, Mr. Saltzman." I say. "Right." He says, smiling, extending his hands out, and claps them together. "It all kind of mushes together up here, the Sixties, Seventies. Thank you, Ethan." He says, and looks back at the chalkboard. I walk over to see Mark and Jeremy sitting down, Jeremy in front of Mark, as I'm carrying a tray of food. "Hey, Jer. How you doing?" I ask, smiling, as he looks at me, and back to Mark. "Are you okay at the house alone with John?" I ask. "It's not ideal." He says, and grabs his bag with his left hand, and puts it over his left shoulder, and standing up, and then right. "You haven't heard from Jenna, have you?" I ask. "It looks like she's staying on campus. Look. I'm, uh. I'm late for class." He says, and walks off, and I face Mark, and sit in Jeremy's spot, and put my tray down. "What's going on?" I ask, as he's smiling, and so do I, and take my bag off with my right hand, and set it down next to me. "I told him he had to dress up tonight and he got all uptight." He says, shaking his head, and I look back at my tray. "Oh." I say, and laugh, and pick up my fork with my right hand. "Hey, Ethan, there you are. Ok." Dana says, as I look at her. "This is going to sound freaky, but this totally hot guy just asked me to ask you if you're going to the dance tonight." She says, and I give a small laugh, looking at Mark, and he looks at her. "Tell him he has a boyfriend." Mark says. "You could at least meet him. He'll be at the dance tonight. Look for him. His name is Klaus." She says, smiling, and I look at Mark, and back to her. "I'm sorry, what did you just say?" I ask. "His name's Klaus. I know the name's stupid, but I swear he's hot." She says. "Where is he? Is he here?" Mark asks. "I don't know." She says. "She's been compelled." Mark says. "But he wants to know if you'll save him the last dance. How cute is that?" She asks. I'm at the Salvatore Boarding House, talking with the brother's and Mark, in the Living Room. "So we go to the dance, we find him." Damon says. "Really? How are we going to do that? We don't even know what he looks like." Stefan says. "Something tells me he's not going to be sixteen and pimply." Damon says. "He could be anywhere at any time. He compelled somebody at school." Stefan says, sighing, looking at Mark and I. "I guess it's not as safe as you guys thought, huh?" He asks, and there's a knock on the door, as we look at it, and it opens, and Alaric walks in. "There you are." Damon says, and Alaric closes it with his left hand, and walks over to us. "Sorry I'm late." He says. "Hey, I need you to put me down as a Chaperone at the dance tonight. Klaus made his first move." Damon says. "Ok, so we find him and then what, hm? What's our plan of attack?" I ask. "Me. I'm the plan. He has no idea how much power I can channel. If you can find him, I can kill him. He'll be coming after that real Moonstone around your neck." Mark says, as I take it out from under my shirt. "The one you made probably wasn't heavy enough. Klaus probably feels stupid right now." He says. "That's not going to be that easy. I mean, he is the biggest, baddest Vampire around." Alaric says. "Alaric has a point. I mean, what if he." Damon says, and dashes towards Mark, and gets thrown to the other side of the room, over the couch, and I gasp. "Well, I was impressed." Stefan says, looking at us. "It doesn't matter if he's an Original. I can take down anyone who comes at me. I can kill him, Ethan. I know I can." Mark says, as I look at him, and smile. Stefan and I are in his bedroom, as I'm looking through boxes of old clothes. "Your relatives were such packrats." I say, and pick up a rainbow tank top in my left hand, and a rainbow hoodie in my right. "Okay, so what do you think? Twiggy or sexy hippy?" I ask, smiling, holding them up, noticing he's in a black suit, white long sleeve, and black tie. "Ooh!" He exclaims, and I put my hands down, looking at the outfits. "You know it's not too late to back out, right?" He asks. "And what, miss out on all the fun?" I ask, setting the outfits down, and look back in the boxes, crying, and hear footsteps, and rubs my back with his right hand. "Hey." He says, and I look at him, as he puts his hand down, and touches my left cheek. "All this time spent worrying about Klaus. I think I convinced myself that he's not real but he is." I say, shaking my head, and he nods. "But he is." I say. "And tonight, we will put an end to him." He says, smiling, and I wrap my arms around his neck, as he lowers his hand, and puts his around my waist, and I kiss him. "I love you." I say. "I want you to tell me that when the night's over." He says, smiling, and nod, and kiss him again. "Any time tonight." Damon says, as we stop kissing, and look at him. "I want you both to promise me something." I say. "What is it?" Damon asks, walking over to us. "If I don't make it out alive and you guys don't figure out a way to  bring me back after three hours. I want you all to spend the next eighteen hours doing what you've always wanted." I say, and Stefan kisses my forehead. "Nothing's gonna happen." Damon says. "It might." I say. "I promise." Stefan says. "As do I. Let's go." Damon says. I arrive at the school to meet up with Mark and Jeremy, looping my left hand with Stefan's right arm, and we release. I decided to go with the rainbow hoodie and Peace Sunglasses with Jeans, a Mood Ring on my left index finger, a Peace Ring on my middle, and the Moonstone. "Hi, you two. You look nice." I say to Mark, seeing he's in the same outfit as Stefan, puttimg my arms around his neck, and his on my waist. "You, too." He says, and we release, smiling at each other. "You guys ready to do this?" Stefan asks, as we nod. We walk in and see everyone cheering and clapping. "We have a special shout out tonight. This is for Ethan. From Klaus." Dana says into the microphone, and everyone claps and cheers, and Dedicated To The One I Love by the Mamas and the Papas, plays. The song ends, and a new one starts. "That was a lame, cheap shot. He's just trying to bait us." Damon says, as I'm looking around. "I know everyone here." I say. "Maybe he's not here. Just wants us to believe that he is." Stefan says. "It's a party, people. Blend. Let him come to us." Damon says. "Good idea." Mark says. "No, no, I really don't feel like dancing." Jeremy says, as I look at him, as Mark's holding his right hand with his left, as they're walking off to the Dance Floor. "Too bad." Mark says. "There's Ric. I'll be back." Damon says, as we look at him, and he walks off, and I look to my right. "Well?" Stefan asks, offering his right hand, and I look at him, and he smiles, and I take it with my left, giving a small smile, and he spins my right hand, and I laugh, and we're moving our hands back and forth, and I notice Matt and Tony. "Tony's here. They don't know what's going on. We have to tell him." I say, as he looks behind him, and back to me. "I'm on it." Stefan says, and Stefan spins my right hand, and lets me go, walking off, as I start going after him, and someone grabs my right hand, and pulls me to them, as I catch their left right shoulder with my left hand, and see it's Damon. "How you doing?" He asks, as we dance. "Um, kinda freaking out some bit? I'm not afraid of him." I say, looking around, and back to him. "You?" I ask. "Cool as a Cucumber." He says, letting my hands go, pointing behind him with his thumbs. "Come on, remember the last Decade Dance? The Vampires were all, ahh!" He exclaims, moving his hands forward, and I run my hands over my face, and put them down. "And you were all, aahh! And you're all, I ain't afraid of some old Vampire dude." He says. "Right. And you won." I say, and he takes my hands, pulling them to his chest. "Yes! We did." He says, smiling, and extends my right hand, as he steps backwards, letting my left go, and I spin around to him, holding his right again, and I smile at him. "You're good at this." I say. "I've got moves you've never seen." He says, and spins me again, smiling, and I smile back, walking over to him, laughing. I'm with Jeremy, looking at Mark and Damon, dancing. "What are they up to?" I ask, and look at him. "Who knows?" He asks. "Is there something going on, Jer? You okay?" I ask. "Fine. I'm fine." He says, and I look at Mark and Damon, and back to him, and he's walking off, and I step forward. "Hey." Stefan says, as I look at him. "Everything all right?" He asks. "I'm not sure." I say, looking back. I walk over to Mark, as everyone else is dancing, after Stefan telling me what's going on. Mark's gonna kill Klaus, but taking him down with him." I need to talk to you." I say, and see him look forward, and so do I, at Damon, and look back at Mark, and take his right hand, and we walk off to go outside. "How could you not tell me?" I ask. "Because I knew how'd you react." He says. "No. No way, it's not an option." I say, shaking my head. "It's our only option." He says. "Then we'll find another way, okay? Mark, you're not dying to save my life." I say, shaking my head. "I have the power to save you! If I don't use it and something happens, that would kill me more." He says, as I look to my left, and back to him, shaking my head. "I can't let you." I say. "Just answer one question-- if the situation was reversed, would you do it for me?" He asks, and I sigh. "So you know why I have to." He says, and I shake my head. "No. No!" I exclaim, with tears dropping from my eyes. "Ethan!" Alaric exclaims, running to us, as we look at him. "What is it?" I ask. "He has Jeremy." He says. "What?" "What?!" Mark and I both say, at the same time. "Yeah, Klaus has Jeremy. Come on." Alaric says, and runs off, as Mark and I look at each other, and run off, and he opens the for us with his right hand, and we run in. We're following Alaric down the hall. "Ok, so where are you taking us?" I ask. "Just a little further." He says. "Wait .Something's not right." I say, looking behind me, and forward. "Where's Jeremy?" Mark asks, and Alaric stops walking, and laughs. "I just had to get away from that dance. The sixties, ugh. Not my decade." He says, and turns around, looking at us. "I mean, who's call was that, anyway?" He asks, extending his hands out. "I much prefer the twenties. The style, the parties, the jazz." He says, putting his hands down. "Talking like you're old? Oh, my God. Klaus!" I exclaim, as he's walking forward. "Wow. You are smart. Relax, Ethan. I'm not here to hurt you. You're not on my Hit List tonight." He says, and looks at Mark, who had his right hand out. "But you are." He says, running forward, as Mark pushes him back to the lockers, and he falls, groaning, as I gasp, and he stands up. "Now, did I mention that I knew a warlock? You're gonna have to hit me a lot harder than that." He says, running towards us, and Mark blasts him into the Trophy Case, as I gasp, and he falls, glass shattering, and he laughs, standing up. "By all means.. Fire away!" He exclaims. "If you kill this body, I'll just get a new one. Maybe Jeremy." He says. "Go. Run. Run!" Mark exclaims, running over to me, taking my right hand, and we run off, and he lets my hand go, and I hear the doors slam, as I look at them, and hear footsteps from behind, and turn around, breathing heavily, seeing Damon with his arms extended out. "What happened?" He asks, putting his hands down. "Klaus is in Alaric's body." I say. "What?" He asks. "He's possessing it or something." Mark says, and Stefan looks at me. "Go find Stefan. Now." He says, and I nod, taking off the Moonstone. "Make a deal with Klaus." I say, putting it in his hands, and run off. I run back in to where the party is, looking for Stefan, breathing heavily. "Hey!" Tony exclaims, and I look at him. "Are you okay?" He asks. "Um.. yeah. I'm just.. I'm looking for Stefan." I say, looking to my right. "Seriously, what's wrong?" He asks. "Uh, just, um." I say, looking around, and look back at him, and notice Matt. "Stay with Matt, okay?" I ask, and look to my right, and see Stefan, and run towards him. "Klaus is Alaric." I say, and he takes my right hand, and we run off. "Damon's making a deal with Klaus in exchange for the Moonstone." I say, and we see Damon, and release hands. "There you are." He says. "What are you doing? Where's Mark? Did you make the deal?" I ask, as he approaches us. "Yes. Once you're dead, he'll leave. Mark doing what he has to do." He says. "What?!" I exclaim. "Where is he?" Stefan asks. "Stefan, let him do this." Damon says. "Damn it, Damon, where is he?!" Stefan exclaims. Stefan and I are running, and see Mark in the Cafeteria, and he looks at us. "Mark, no!" I yell, as he shuts the door, and Stefan and I bang on it, as I notice the lights flicker and explode, as I bang harder, and he looks at me, bleeding, and back to Alaric, and he tiltsays backwards, and drops. "No!" I yell, and the lights stop. "Oh! Mark!" I exclaim, and Stefan and I run in, and I crouch down next to Mark, crying, holding him. "Mark, Mark! Mark, Mark, hey, hey! Stefan, he's not breathing! Stefan! Stefan, I can't find his pulse." I say, feeling for it, and look at him, and back to Mark. "Stefan! Do something, please! Stefan, please! Just give him blood, do something, please!" I exclaim, crying harder, looking at him. "It's too late. I'm sorry." He says, as I look at Mark, and back up to him, shaking my head. "No!" I exclaim, and look back at Mark, shaking my head. "No. No, no, no, no, no! Mark! Mark, please, no! No, no, no, no, no, no!" I exclaim, crying more. "Stefan, get Ethan out of here." Damon says, as I look at him. "I'll deal with the body." He says, and I see Stefan stand up. "What do you mean, deal with it?" I ask, and Damon walks over to us. "The Sheriff can't know about this." He says, and I look back at Mark. "Last thing we need's another mysterious death." He says, and I look up at him. "This is Mark!" I yell, and look back down, sobbing. "Get him home. Now." Damon says. "Hey, hey, hey." Stefan says, putting his hands on my shoulders, as I look up, and shake my head. "Hey." He says. "No. Jeremy." I say, as he puts his hands around my waist, pulling me up. "Oh, my God, Jeremy. What about Jeremy?" I ask. "I'll find him." Damon says, as I cry harder, screaming. "No!" I yell, as Stefan shushes me, softly, in my left ear, and we walk out. I'm sitting in the Living Room by the fire, with a red blanket around me, still crying, and hear footsteps. "Hey." Stefan says, softly. "Here, drink this." He says, and I shake my head. "I can't." I say. "Yeah. Yeah, you can." He says, and I shake my head. "Please drink this." He says, and I look down, and take take it with my right hand, and I gasp, shaking, bringing it up to my lips, crying harder. "This is my fault." I say. "No, no, no, no, no." He says, and I nod. "No. Hey. This was Klaus. Listen to me." He says, rubbing my left arm. "Klaus did this." He says, and I look at him, and hear the door open, and see Damon shut the door with his left hand. "What did you do with him?" I ask, standing up, walking over to him, as he approaches me. "Will you please calm him down?" Damon asks Stefan, and I put my right hand out behind me. "Don't talk like I'm not standing right in front of you." I say, putting my hand down, and he extends his arms. "Please calm down." He says, stepping in front of me. "You knew! Didn't you? You knew that if he harnessed all that power, that he would die, didn't you?" I ask. "Yes. Yes, I knew." He says, and I shove him, but he doesn't move. "You need to listen to me, and prepare for what I'm about to say. Mark had to die. Klaus using Alaric's body was a total surprise. He wasn't prepared for that. And he wasn't going to stop, and we weren't going to be able to stop him until he knew he was dead. He had to believe it. He cast a spell. Mark's okay." He says. "Oh, my God." I say, and put my arms around his neck, as he puts his around my back, hugging me, and we release, and he walks off, and I look at Stefan. "Come here." He says, putting his arms around my waist, as I put mine around his neck, hugging him, and he kisses my forehead. I'm sitting down, holding my laptop, waiting for the Webcam, and see Mark, and smile. "Mark!" I exclaim. "Ethan." He says, and takes the laptop. "Ethan. Ethan, I'm so sorry, pal." He says, crying, as am I, and shake my head. "It's okay, it's okay." I say, smiling. "I just needed to see for myself." He says. "There wasn't enough time for me to tell you." He says. "It's okay, seriously. Damon explained it all." I say. I'm in Damon's bedroom, with a gray shirt and black gym shorts, and he looks at me, walking out of the bathroom, holding a in his right hand, and his jacket in his left. "Ugh. Look. Klaus had to think he was dead." He says, walking to his bed, and throws his jacket on it. "Your reaction had to be real." He says, and I look down, and back up to him. "I understand why you did what you did. Klaus was fooled, and Mark's alive." I say, smiling. "And now, he has the Moonstone." I say, and he raises his glass. "Here's to duplicity." He says, and smiles, and drinks his drink, and I sigh, and walk over to him. "But let's get one thing straight, Damon. Mark will not die for me, I will not let that happen." I say. "We need to kill Klaus, Ethan. Real Klaus. Who will probably be coming to pay you a visit soon now that he knows that Mark is dead. He's the only one who can do it." He says, and I move closer to him. "We'll find another way." I say. "I hope so." He says, and smiles, and I look down, sigh, and run my right hand through my hair, and down. "Look, I shouldn't have shoved you." I say, looking up at him. "Apology accepted." He says, and smiles, and I give a small smile. "Let me be clear about something. If it comes down to you and the warlock again, I will gladly let Mark die. I will always choose you." He says, and there's a pause, and I sigh, and look down, and back up to him, and nod. "Goodnight, Damon." I say. "Goodnight." He says, winking with his left eye, and smiles, and I look at the bed, with my arms crossed, sigh, and turn around, and walk off, uncrossing my arms. I'm in the hallway, and look to my right, and turn to my left, and head towards the basement. I open the door with my right hand, quietly, and look behind me, and turn around, and shut the door, quietly, and walk to the Cellar, and look up, and look behind me, and back to it, and open the door, with my right hand, and it creaks, and I walk in, seeing Elijah, daggered. I walk over to him, and crouch down, looking back at the door, and back to him, and put my right hand on the dagger, and pull it out, and sit back against the rock, waiting.
