EDITED
Albus' P.O.V
"Are you excited?" I asked Scorpius as we walked hand in hand out to the quidditch field. He shrugged. "I guess so, I just don't want to be away from you for two whole months because of this."
I grinned. "What if I told you I pulled a few strings and if you make the team I can go with you?" I asked, squeezing his hand. He looked over at me with a hopeful expression.
"Really?"
"Really."
It had been decided that Ilvermorny, the North American school, was going to host the quidditch tournament. It was September and tryouts were being held for the Hogwarts team. Of course Scorpius was trying out for seeker and I was going to cheer him on. I heard him sigh as we reached the field and gave him a quick peck on the cheek before finding a spot in the stands.

"Did'ya make it Scorp?" I asked, trying to push through the crowds of disappointed faces swarming around the board that displayed the official Hogwarts team. I didn't get an answer for a minute until I was nearly run over by an excited Scorpius who tackled me in a hug.
"We're going to North America!" He exclaimed and I laughed.
"Oh I dunno Scorp, I don't think you're excited enough." I teased and he pulled away but not before lightly punching me in the arm.
5 MONTHS LATER
Scorpius' P.O.V
We had just landed in America. Ilvermorny was visible from the hill we stood on. How could they fit all of those North American students there? We could see the Beauxbatons carriage arriving in the distance and the Durmstrang ship was anchored to some sort of mooring dock. There was also a team from the Brazilian school, Castelobruxo, a team from the African school, Uagadou and a team from the Japanese school who were renowned for their quidditch skills, Mahoutokoro. I looked over to Albus who was holding my hand and gaping at the new castle. I grinned, he had wanted to come here for so long.
"Alright everyone! Let's follow Headmaster Longbottom down to the castle so we can eat dinner and get some rest!" I announced and we began making our way down to Ilvermorny. I had been chosen to be the Hogwarts team captain so it was up to me to make sure everyone was prepared and well rested.
"You excited Al?" I whispered when we reached the doors to their entrance hall. He nodded and we moved to the front of our group. Albus was wearing his Hogwarts robes except that they now had the Hogwarts crest on them rather than the Slytherin crest. The rest of the team wore quidditch robes for the time being. They were all of the house colours but had 'Hogwarts Quidditch' on the front with their position, number and last name on the back. Mine had a little extra green as my regular house was Slytherin.
"We would like to welcome the first of our guests, the lovely students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!" A voice announced as we strolled into the hall, heads held high. I looked up and could see the Ilvermorny students watching from the balcony above. There were four wooden statues in the hall. Pukwudgie, Horned Serpent, Thunderbird and Wampus. It had been decided that we would go through a sorting and stay with those houses. I stepped forward first as I was the captain. I was motioned to stand on a knot of wood in the center of the hall. I watched in awe as the crystal in the statue of the Horned Serpent lit up.
"Scorpius Potter, you have been accepted into the house of the Horned Serpent!" I smiled and strode to stand beside the statue for the time being while the rest of the team was sorted. Most went into Thunderbird. Then it was Albus' turn. He stepped up to what they called the Gordian Knot. Nothing happened. He shot me a panicked look before the room erupted in light and sound. The Thunderbird began to beat it's wings, the Pukwudgie raised it's arrow, the Horned Serpent's crystal began to glow and the Wampus let out a terrifying roar. When it was all over the room fell silent.
"Albus Wood, you have been accepted into every house. This is a very rare honour, but the choice is yours. Wampus, Thunderbird, Pukwudgie or Horned Serpent?!" The voice bellowed and Albus looked towards me and I smiled. Whatever house he thought was best was fine with me. Although I wasn't about to tell him that he should be in the same house as me, that was his choice.
"Um... I choose... Horned Serpent!" He decided. There were loud cheers from that house and he came to stand beside me. I grabbed his hand and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. He blushed and gave me a small smile. We watched together as the other schools came in one by one to be sorted and stand by their respective house statues. All of the students from Castelobruxo were sorted into Pukwudgie, this was no surprise as their school was known for it's healers and herbologists. Most of the students from the African school were sorted into Horned serpent. Next the team from Beauxbatons came in. They had sky blue robes and most of the players were girls. A couple of them went to Horned Serpents and two went to Pukwudgie. One girl with short blond hair went to Wampus.
"Interesting, I never thought that a Beauxbatons student would go to Wampus." Albus muttered and I smirked. "Neither did I."
The Durmstrang team got sorted into Thunderbird. No surprises there. Their team consisted of mostly boys and one girl. She had bright blue eyes and choppy red hair. They had black robes lined with red. Last but not least the Japanese team. They wore robes of gold and silver. Their team was evenly mixed with girls and boys. They were all sorted into Horned serpent. We joined the Ilvermorny students and had a feast before heading up to their common rooms for the night.
Hey guys! Of course Albus has to be extra special because he's my cinnamon roll and a dorky nerd. In a good way of course. So... enjoy this new part of the story!
